Superbly equipped and beautifully secluded from the world.

A great place for a family weekend with everything we needed in an lovely private setting. The location was very convenient for snorkeling at Goat Island Marine Reserve and visiting Tawharanui Regional Park.

The place is so clean and neat. I love the design and the furniture in the house.

A beautiful space, lovingly presented

A very nice, quiet location surrounded by bush which suited our walking group. Very spacious inside, with good decking to sit outside. Well equipped kitchen. Road no problem to access. Comfy beds. Plenty of hot water.

Would like to have known linen didn't include handtowels, teatowels or dishclothes as haven't struck that before when we go away as a group. Also, a couple of very chilly nights even though beginning of November, so if there had been wood (as stated) we would have lit the fire.

Location, location, location! Best spot to recharge and unwind. Well thought out accommodation. The owners have thought of everything to ensure an enjoyable stay. The starlink is very fast, we took our laptop and watched the Warriors and All Blacks, via an hdmi cable to the tv. Beautiful whare.

Very minor issues, the generator kicked in at 2am, and set off the extraction fan in the kitchen. In the mezzanine bedroom you can hear the generator working through the floor. The oven had no instructions, so it took a while to figure out. A quick guide would be helpful for future visitors.

Great place, we did a mum and kids night, was very nice, the kids had fun, wish we could have stayed a little more to explore.

excellent location off the grid set in the bush. total privacy. A great place to relax and unwind.

Maybe just a comfy couch in the lounge. It was rather hard as was the window box seat. It is predominantly a Summer getaway but cozy for a Winter stay. 1 drawback was that we could not dine inside as a family gathered around the table for a birthday feast- as there was no indoor table and chairs, even though there was plenty of space to put them. There was a large outdoor table and chairs but the weather did not permit outdoor dining at this time.
