The property felt homely from the moment we stepped in the door. Everything was straight forward to check in and communication with the owner was instant.

"Perfect cottage for a fun family getaway. Everything you need."

The location was spectacular. Beautiful view of the water from inside and outside, but also only a 5 minute walk to the lovely town with great coffee shops. Extremely clean and comfortable with 2 gas fireplaces to make the house super cosy as well as the regular heating being on. Kitchen was fully equipped to easily cook a meal for 6 or more people including large sized pots and bowls and baking trays and dishes. Even had a lemon juicer and garlic press. Felt very welcoming.

Nothing. It was marvellous and the host was in touch the day before to make sure we had everything we needed.

Absolutely beautiful cottage….pretty garden and fantastic views! Property is beautiful decorated. Great communication from the host and meet his Dad this morning a lovely friendly man. Highly recommend

Hillcrest Cottage was outstanding. I could just move in tomorrow! The quality of the decor and furnishings was first class. It was a real home from home. We felt very comfortable and the hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. The views from the house and garden were stunning. The weather was fabulous so we spent most of our time in the garden eating and drinking and enjoying the view. We enjoyed delicious food from the local fish and chip shop and the Chinese takeaway - excellent prices too! We stayed here as part of a golfing trip and there was a great selection of superb golf courses a short drive away. Euan, our host was very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend this cottage and Cullen. We would love to go back for another trip and would stay longer the next time as it's so peaceful and relaxing. And of course we will choose Hillcrest for future bookings.

It was a perfect holiday experience - I can't think of anything to improve! Well done to all involved in making our stay so welcoming.
