Stylish 2 Bed Near Alton Towers, Polar Bears, Peak District

This property was a life saver. We were staying in a property in leek which was horrendous and decided to book this cottage because we couldn't stay in the other another night. The host was lovely and helpful when I had questions. The welcome basket with treats and bread was such a night surprise and was well appreciated. The cottage was spacious, everything was clean, literally had everything you could need while away from home. Definitely recommend this place. 👌

Perfect accommodation. Felt right at home and enjoyed using the facilities in the kitchen. Such a shame we were unable to use the outside area! Slightly wet and windy. Thank you for the extra treats too!

Very well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms nice and modern. Good location. Friendly owner. Well equipped comfortable property ideal for 2 couples with an ensuite each. Great tv!

No bbq tools. Thought the deep fat fryer should be replaced with air fryer. Bedrooms a bit cluttered with boot sale style hanging rail....replace with wooden wall mounted unit with hanging rail next to bed. Get rid of fake flowers in windows as make house darker as already traditional small deep set windows.

It was adequate.

Dogs constantly barking in other property. No hot water in shower. TV a nightmare trying to get it to work. The place could do with a deep clean.

Cosy cottage in a beautiful location with ample parking space. Clear instructions about how to get to the place and a delightful welcome basket to greet us on arrival! The place has all you need to have a comfortable and fun stay, and we really enjoyed our game of scrabble too! Towels and toileteries are provided and the house was very clean on arrival.

Not much! If I have to bring something up, it would be the checkout time, maybe extend it to 11 am, allows a bit of a lie in! :)

The house is beautiful and is equipped with everything you need, you can feel like at home. Heating adjustable in each room as needed. Welcome pack that exceeded our expectations:)

It didn't change our opinion about the house, but I think it would be better if in one bedroom instead of a double duvet there were two single ones, my two sons didn't want to sleep under one duvet, so one of them was slept under a blanket that I took with me just in case :)

Lovely feeling great stay

The house was stylish and had everything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Fairy lights in the lounge made us feel cosy in the evenings.

It was a little dusty in some areas, but it didn’t affect our stay at all.

Beautifully appointed barn conversion in private courtyard. Lovley facilities and a beautiful hamper and welcome note from the owner. Had a wonderful Xmas break exploring the peaks.

Not the owners issue but Xmas day was ruined by two large black dogs in the neighboring house left outside and barking continuously. They literally barked every time you went near the front door or saw you move in the property. Have seen other comments regarding this.
