Gorgeous historic cottage with all the modern amenities. Lovely comfortable stay and we especially appreciated the log burner in the cold snowy weather!

Beautiful cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Very well presented. Fully equipped. A very comfortable bed, big couches to lounge on and a lovely wood burner. A fantastic welcome pack too.

Very homely and thoughtfully appointed, lovely hamper on arrival, all cleaning and toiletries provided and very helpful notes and info from David. Loved the secret garden, tucked away to enjoy a cuppa!

"Fantastic"

10.0

The cottage was clean, spacious enough for 4 plus 2 dogs, and well equipped. The beds were comfy and a decent size. The kitchen had everything expected and things like a coffee maker which were not. (NB The fridge is a fridge/freezer). The cooker was easy to use and cooked effectively. The dishwasher and washing machine both cleaned well but even with the manual on-line we could not get the washing machine to just tumble dry. The TV has access to Prime/Netflix and Disney+ but you will need to have a subscription to log in. The shower was powerful and with lashings of hot water. The parking was adequate for 2 medium size SUV's (we had Qashqais) but might struggle for larger SUVs. The location was great being 2.5 miles from Keighley and 5 or so from Haworth with easy access to the local moors - The Bronte parsonage and waterfall, the heritage railways at Haworth (Worth Valley Railway) and Bury (East Lancs Railway). Other attractions locally worth visiting are Bolton Abbey, Skipton Castle Hardcastle Crags and East Riddlesdon Hall. We enjoyed our stay and would return next time we stay into the area

The fact that the garden was over the road from the cottage was a nuisance when taking the dogs out at night and the fact that the alarm on the neighbours caravan over the road went off 3 times in the middle of the night was annoying and woke the whole house.
