"Relaxing and stress free. Much needed"

10.0

Perfect for a hideaway. The cottage is beautiful with all that is needed and more. The hamper was very useful and a lovely surprise. Laycock village has a huge history. And surroundings are perfect for walking and the Turkey is an amazing pub/restaurant. Easy to get to Haworth and other areas. If you like shopping Boundary Mill is a must and only 20 mins away. I needed to buy another suitcase. Sitting outside was lovely and people chatting. The secret garden is really that a gorgeous place to sit even when the weather was a little cold.

Nothing I did stress about locking the summer house was a bit tricky.

Amazing views from the property and the garden. Cosy and comfortable property. Spotlessly clean with great shower room.

Would need the wood burner working.

"Great views, excellent facilities"

7.0

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly think of. All your cooking needs are catered to here with lots of pots and pans and all mod cons. Plus there were some dishwasher tablets for us to use and washing tablets, too. And on arrival, we were treated to a little basket of goodies including beer, can of gin, teabags, biscuits and water. There were streaming services we made use of, DVDs, books and games, too. A nice place if you want to hunker down. The views of the Moors were spectacular. You can walk to the nearby pub but it's a steep climb home afterwards, especially if you've had more than one course. But the food there at the Turkey Inn is superb. Also, great to have a designated parking space so close by.

The bed in the main bedroom was a little uncomfortable. Too soft for our liking with not enough back support. So a bit of a bad couple of night's sleep for my husband. It also took us a while to figure out the heating, too. Shame the garden wasn't attached to the actual property. Might've been able to enjoy that more in nicer weather. Also, a real shame the fire in the living room cannot be used. Would've added a little extra to the olde worlde charm of this property. Shower drains a little slowly.
