The Old Deanery

Lovely hotel full of character in great location next to the cathedral

The staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The Deanery is very old and has the right balance of modern facilities whilst maintaining the charm and character of the building. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. The breakfast was exceptional and the best experience to start the day. Thank you to all the staff I really enjoyed my stay and will book again when I next visit Ripon.

Charming hotel, excellent location, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was great.

Some property subsidence which affected my room (3) quite badly, doing everything at an angle gets quite tiresome after a while.

The hotel looks poor from outsode, but inside it was great, very clean, real comfy bed, breakfast was the best we ever had, would highly recommend this hotel, to everybody, it was the Best

Window shutters could have fitted a bit better. However, lovely view and not overlooked. Car park a bit tight.
