The location is amazing near Dalawella beach. The views are amazing right on the beach. The staff was amazing and very attentive to all requests and the food was also excellent! Overall loved my stay

There was no phone service coming through in the room and one of the window panes fell off in the bathroom but was fixed the next day.

"Amazing staff, location, food, service and trip!"

The staff and service were fantastic throughout our stay! Clean, comfortable rooms, great location, lovely pool, excellent food. Absolutely nothing to complain about on this trip! Probably the best overall stay in our many years of travelling locally in Sri Lanka.

It would be great if the 2 gates for beach access were fixed (have to walk to the beach from a side gate) . The pool shower was blocked since one of the access gates has been converted into a makeshift pool shower. Fans in the breakfast/bar area would also be great. Unfortunately the 2nd floor balconies are concrete and block the view but the other floors seem to have glass balconies.

"Owl and Pussycat and the Dr Barker Special."

Owl and Pussycat Hotel is unique and luxurious. I had the privilege of being upgraded to the most enchanting suite, because I had requested a room without stairs. It was just amazing - the kind of suite that you could see yourself living in. Lovely colors and finishings and artworks. Especially wonderful is the restaurant and its staff. I had literally the best hotel meal of my life and you can too if you as for the Dr Barker Special. I will return.

I did not like leaving.
