Sands Motel By OYO El Paso near Airport

They didn’t let me check in

Dumpy little place near the tracks. Perfect location for my visit, you could do worse reasonable cost, great parking/motel. Wifi worthless, could be really nice with a bit of remodeling.

To be honest we didn’t stay there we only lasted like 2 hours. The reason why is because we found a bed bug. Ones told the owners they said it was a cockroach that are usually around and go up the bed. Still wasn’t convinced so we just left.

It was not the best, getting charged extra upon arrival

As I booked there for the economic price, the man asked for the deposit for the night, which is normal, he said it was refundable and the morning of checkout I asked for it and he said it was taxes for the rooms. I paid the rooms and taxes prior to getting there. If I would have known I was going to end up spending more than what I accounted for I would have reconsidered where to stay. As for the property it has good parking but the rooms appear outdated, it does the job, it permits you to sleep but the restroom had a bad smell.

Nothing very dude staff and there was cockroaches coming out of the bathroom the bed was dirty

Front desk employee had an attitude and kept changing the room prices, then he got mad and threw my money and my I.d. at me
