Hotel O Porvorim Near Mall De Goa

It was very near the Mall de Goa, so easy to find and the room was quite clean.

I arrived there and there was no one: no indications on where the reception was (no people and no signs whatsoever), it took me a long time to figure out I had to go up the stairs to find the reception. I saw the pic of the reception shown in booking, but that does not correspond to the current one. Once I found it, there was nobody there; again, it took me a while before the person let me check in. The guy at the reception barely spoke English and it was kind of hard to communicate.

Nothing what so ever. All the rating on booking.com are fake. Property is filthy . Has no lifts and property looks very unsafe to stay with family. One of the worst properties we have booked from booking.com. All the images on the portal are fully staged.

This property is not at all safe for family.Please never stay there with kids or seniors. No lifts. They have not even provided any invoices for our stay and after booking 2 additional rooms on top of our original booking the property are claiming of no show after 10-12 days from the stay. They have advertised the property as triple room, however they would provide a filthy bug infested floor mattress to accommodate 3rd guest.Hanif was the primary contact from the property whom we were in touch with before our stay.

Nothing. Hence decided not to stay.

There was no breakfast, no other facilities at the room. The place was very isolated and didnt give the correct vibes. There were two very unprofessional men to assist at the reception. The hotel was in a corner very hard to find. The place felt very shady.

Room was spacious

Drinking water was not available. They made us buy water bottle from outside .. Shower kit and dental kit was not provided. and hotel staff doesn’t even know what it is . And reaching the location was difficult. Because the same hotel has different names . And I had booked hotel with breakfast included.. but hotel doesn’t have a restaurant and hotel staff asked to enquire with booking.com .

OYO contacted me after the booking was confirmed to make full payment, which I did. But when I reached the hotel, was told there is no booking in my name, OYO had transferred this booking to some other guest house in Goa with no intimation to me. After 2 hours of harrowing experience with OYO customer care this was told to me and when I reached the other property in Baga, I saw a very bad room offered as the alternate, which I refused. I had to spend another hour on call with OYO to get my booking cancelled and refund processed. I would highly suggest to stop taking bookings for OYO

The state of the hotel the moment we entered was jus not right. No lift...no cleanliness...no proper staff response.
