Ice trays in freezer would be useful Picnic table and bench on deck would be great

If you love nature this is the place to stay. We enjoyed everything. The sound of the birds and the ducks and the russle of wind through the trees. We caught and released so many bass. Glow worms flying around while we braaied. The occasional thunderstorm and beautiful sunsets. Look no further.....

Nothing

The location, almost suspended over a dam with great views, sunsets and sunrises, is exceptional. The one way glass stacking doors on 2 sides make you feel one with the surrounds. A large wide deck above the edge of the dam is a wonderful place to chill on and take in the atmosphere and sunset. The cabin is very well appointed with all the facilities, equipment and creature comforts you could want and need. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This place is a knockout venue for a overnight or weekend stay.

There is nothing not to like.

This stay was pure magic. The home sits right on the lake, and it’s genuinely one of the most serene places I’ve ever been, like stepping into a little slice of paradise. The peaceful water, the quiet surroundings, and the cozy atmosphere made it the perfect escape. The hosts were absolutely wonderful too: warm, welcoming, and so easy to communicate with. I left feeling refreshed and already wishing I could stay longer. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

Clean and quiet with everything one needs.

This place is an absolute gem. We will definitely be back - before and for our wedding night! I hope it doesn't get crowded with the glamping on site. The privacy and isolation was splendid!! 10//10. Just perfect.

We loved it all!

We had a wonderful stay in a cabin right on the dam, not far from Karkloof Falls. The cabin was extremely comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed and more. It was spotless and very well equipped, with fast and reliable Wi-Fi, all the necessary amenities, and lots of thoughtful little details and items we never expected to be provided. The setting is truly a slice of heaven, with beautiful country views, peaceful surroundings, and an abundance of birdlife all around. It was serene and relaxing. We enjoyed some fishing on the dam and caught a couple of bass, which we happily released. The location is perfect for exploring the Midlands Meander, nearby waterfalls, and surrounding trails. Our host was attentive and gave us a warm welcome on arrival, which made us feel at home immediately. Overall, an exceptional stay and we would absolutely return and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful Midlands escape.
