Not much

When we booked this property on booking.com it stated it was 250 yards from terminal four which is very incorrect. It was over 20 minute walk to the apartment which we could not do so we had to hire an Uber to drop us off and bring us back to the airport this morning The reason for booking this apartment was it was close to the airport as we have an early flight the next day. It stated there was air-conditioning which there wasn’t also stated there’s a bath which there wasn’t and it also stated that there were garden views which was incorrect it was a car carpark .

I didn’t stay here. I had reached out to request directions to the property because I was experiencing issues with connection in my phone. It needed WiFi to function, I wouldn’t have that reliably so I needed to know how to get there or confirm address ahead of time. The address listed wouldn’t come up in maps, and came to learn that the name of the property was not what was listed in the Booking app. This was not advised to me until I was standing outside the building not understanding that the hotel wasn’t LUXX, it was Voyager. There were six requests for directions to the facility, only received upon arrival and addressed to an unknown male rather than to me. It should have been as simple as generating directions, and sending a screen shot or listing them out for me. The property was advertised as near Terminal 4/Picadilly Line. I wasn’t able to download Uber due to aforementioned and disclosed connection issues. I went to the black cab line, the information officer there wasn’t able to find the property and the cabbie quoted £40, which isn’t a close or inexpensive ride. He wouldn’t have found it since the name of the property wasn’t the same as what I booked. I walked and used my cell network to find my way and did arrive.

Upon arrival, the unit was left open with key on a table. It was a 1st level unit with window left open, and a unit a few doors away appeared to have been broken into recently. It was unsettling and concerning from a safety point of view. The room was heavy with stale cigarette smoke, it was embedded in the room. It wasn’t like people smoking in the alley behind your Tower Ham room, or the smoke of a neighboring unit. It was very heavy, to the degree of causing headache. There were wet items sitting in a washing machine, which generally produces mildew and it not healthy for travelers. The linens appeared to be unwashed, there was dirt in the bed and they were wrinkled as if someone slept there then made the bed neatly. Fresh sheets are smooth. The proprietor never considered my position in this. Responses were provided that pushed back on my requests and concerns. I was asked if I had luggage when I requested directions, which isn’t relevant. I was asked who the cabbie was that quoted £40, which is also not relevant. I was told I was unreachable which is true and which was the whole basis for my contacting them to get location details ahead of time, it was disclosed to them I wasn’t able to connect well. I was told I didn’t provide my information and that’s why no directions could be advised but I was never asked to fill out a form the way I did with all seven other stays, nor was I asked for the information ahead of time while I did have connection. I was told there was a problem with my booking, but only in a voicemail that was left; again, after I had advised connection issues and never at the start of my requesting their assistance to firm up where to go. I was told smoking isn’t allowed and housekeeping would have reported it but it doesn’t appear the proprietor ever went to the room to see. I was told I used the room. I sat at the table, made two calls and booked a safer place - I was out within an hour.

"Wasn’t great was not horrible probably won’t book that again."

The property was located in a decent spot to access LHR Airport. It was also close enough to a BP station to fuel up and get snacks. The room was nice and open big enough for a whole family to relax in.

The entrance to the facility was not very secured. I received a message with instructions to enter the facility and none of the instructions were even necessary. I just walked right in and up to the apartment and opened the door. Maybe that was intentional. Idk. The entrance was filthy had trash all around the mailboxes for the tenants. The apartment was poorly attempted to be cleaned. The was a lot of little things that could have been done to sanitize the area. I sent pictures and never heard anything back from the rental company. The neighbors partied all night which was a bummer cause we had an early flight but that’s to be expected in an apartment building. Check was odd I messaged them telling them we were checking out and never got any response. Paying for parking in an apartment building lot seems unnecessary as well.

"Disappointing"

I guess the only good thing was the communication. The owner was available for questions.... and complaints!!

The location was horrible, inside an industrial park, right in front of heavily trafficked traffic lights, in a very down-market area. The building was totally unkempt; it was supposed to be new, but all the corridor carpets were dirty, the lock on the front door was non-existent and there were weeds all round. The apartment itself had a very small "double" bed, minimal fittings, minimal furniture, minimal everything... far from luxury! It was supposed to be close to a tube station, but as far as I could see it was a 10-mnute bus ride away from Hatton Cross. All in all: disappointing.

"Last stop of honeymoon before heading home. Close to airport"

Location , good water pressure in shower. Clean. Felt like my old college dorm room.

Slow response from hostess although she was nice when spoke but did not respond when asked about air conditioning, which we just dealt with. Construction was happening in the parking lot, which also was an additional charge we didn’t realize we were going to pay. My own fault for not researching but did not think to look.
