Beautiful decor. Well planned out space. Good quality fixtures and fittings. Peaceful Beautiful view.

Stained throw cushions on bed and sour dish cloth. Hot tub needed freshened up, a bit of scum on the side. These didn't spoil our stay as everything else was lovely.

Location fantastic - beautiful view and close to Ballater. Cabin was beautiful , comfy beds. Hot tub fantastic Loved watching swallows, martins and red kites from the deck Loved it all!

Modern self catered eco lodge. Great location between braemar, ballater and balmoral. Can reach the riverside from the cabins. Hot tub with incredible views.

Nice decor, good outlook. Pillows weren’t great

There was no forest view - we looked out on the fence round the (shared) hot tub and an electricity pole, with several fields before trees. When we booked there was no indication that the hot tub was shared. Any photographs give an enlarged view of the internal space, which we found too small and poorly organised. We did not use the upstair accommodation - access very restricted. The property is not in Ballater, as advertised. It is a two mile walk to the town centre of Ballater.

Lovely cabin with a good use of space, had everything you needed. Comfortable bed and great views. We really enjoyed the use of the shared hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

We did have to wash some of the cutlery and plates before we could use them as we think the person who stayed before must have split a cup of tea in the drawer which hadn’t been noticed by the cleaner. Other than this everything else was clean so didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay.

Beautiful cabin and lovely view of mountains with snow - great walks around and lovely to come back to a hot tub in the evening

the only thing that would have made it better would have been a woodburning stove in the cabin - but it wasn't cold at all
