Spacious Apartment -Double and Sofabed -Wonderful Royal Pavilion Views

Great location, large open living room, and comfortable bed.

Our travel plans after Brighton changed and we asked for a late checkout, but the host vehemently refused because we asked on the last night of our stay. Not even an extra 30 minutes. I have never experienced this in any hotel or booking.com rental in any country in my entire life. Also the wifi was shoddy, the heating units were overly complicated, and the hallway outside our unit reeked of cigarette smoke.

Despite the initial trepidation when we saw the building, having our nostrils invaded by the pungent stench of stale tobacco upon entering the communal area, and the musty second hand clothing store first impression of the same communal area, when we entered the apartment we were impressed and delighted with the cleanliness, furnishings, facilities and homely feel of the place. The owners have clearly gone to a lot of effort in making this a comfortable home from home, with everything provided that would make it so. It is a quality apartment which bears no reflection to the rest of the block at all. The bathroom, although shower and bath wise would not be suitable for a larger person, was immaculate and as with the kitchen, well presented. Our son took the bedroom and was impressed with the mattress and we all had good quality sleep.

Shower, as with the bath, is a bit tight for space, but it's not a huge bathroom space so understandable. However the water is hot and shower itself has really good flow. The stale cigarette smell within the communal area, not really something owners can do anything about but for us it's not nice to inhale or have on our clothes.

Location is excellent, Ryan was great, flat was very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Bedroom was damp to the point pillows were damp to sleep on and clothes in the wardrobe felt damp, there was mould around the bedroom ceiling and window.

Location is absolutely perfect. Overlooking Pavilion grounds, right in central Brighton, close to seafront / pier / beach and all amenities. Very clean. all good

The property was super homely and clean. I have nothing bad to say about it, me and my family loved staying there. The location was also amazing. Everything you would need was just a walk away. The price is so cheap for the quality of the stay and the host was super kind and helpful.

Well decorated. Smart TV. The location is fantastic.

Biggest let down was that the internet is not suitable for work. I ended up having to tether off my phone as it took 10 seconds to just load a webpage. The other frustrations was the incredibly laggy TV remote and the electric radiators did take a while to heat up the room so was sat wrapped in the duvet both evenings. Although it is mentioned some ways down the listing, just want to highlight again that parking isn't free or available at the property and will cost over £30 in an NCP for every 24 hour period in all nearby areas unless you park and train ride into the centre. So depending on the duration of your stay this may not be a most practical choice.
