First dog foc second dog 10.00 per night. Only 2 dogs allowed. All dogs must be booked in at booking stage. The wee house must be left clean and tidy after pets have stayed or an extra cleaning charge of 25.00 will be charged. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

"Perfect stopover"

The wee house had everything we needed for a one night stay on our way to start the NC500, and the garden was amazing for our dog Lyra to stretch her legs after a long drive North.

"Lovely stay"

Lovely location, we were ten mins away from Gretna green. Both Lynn and her husband were friendly and helpful. Lynn even offered to iron my husband's shirt as we forgot to do it before we arrived and he needed it for a friend's wedding. Cottage has everything you need. Really quiet and peaceful location. Shower is good and kitchen is well equipped. Garden is enclosed so you could have food outside at the bench if you wanted to.

Bed isn't the most comfortable, quite lumpy, could probably do with replacing the mattress.

"Location and accommodation was great. Out of the main cities but between several great places."

It was a quiet place. Loved the countryside. Hosts were great.

No laundry facilities. But it wasn’t an aspect not to stay there.

"Outstanding"

Lynn was there to meet on arrival and was warm and welcoming. Everything about the workings of the Cottage was explained. The cottage, and the beautiful garden are wonderful. The only noise is the birdsong. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and everything you could possibly need is provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

There is nothing to dislike.

"A perfect stopover"

This was perfect for our needs. We needed a stopover on our way down from Scotland. The little cottage was really comfortable and had tea, coffee and some milk. It was so much easier, while travelling with our 2 dogs, to have a self-contained space and a lovely garden rather than use a hotel room. The location is very peaceful, parking is easy and we had a lovely walk to the Solway Firth in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Google Maps took us to the house a couple of doors before but that was a very minor issue!
