ORO The Estates, Nandi Hills

The property is located in a good location close to Nandi hills and overseeing other hills. The rooms are nice.

The food is not hygienic and it is contaminated. There were pieces of steel scrub in the food and the juicers were infested with worms which were alive and moving in the glass. There was no immediate action to remove the contaminated food from the buffet and the staff response was poor. It was a bad experience that even after paying a significant amount, the food was not meeting basic standards of hygiene. Would highly advise to avoid the place which does not maintain cleanliness in the food.

EVERYTHING. We had to cancel the booking and demand a refund because the WiFi was not working, and even after more than an hour of trying, the staff could not fix it. After check-in, we discovered there was no power in the room, and I had to walk nearly 600 meters back to reception just to inform them to switch it on. To make matters worse, the room phone was also not working. This place is absolutely pathetic in terms of basic management and guest experience. Apart from Vi, no other mobile network works there, and this crucial information is nowhere mentioned on the booking site. The Garden Villa did not even have a TV. The explanation given was that they want guests to “spend time in nature,” while other room and villa categories conveniently do have TVs. After a lot of dilly-dallying and unnecessary delays, they finally refunded the money to my GPay account only after I firmly told them that I was not leaving without getting my money back. My entire one-day holiday was completely ruined. I would never return to this place, even if the stay was offered for free.

It's the Estate and very easy access to Nandi Hills. The property is maintained clean and hygiene. Food was excellent and breakfast was variety. The staffs were very helpful and courteous. Overall I would prefer my next stay at the same place. A best destination for family and friends with lots of amenities as inddor games and outdoor courts.

Ordering food was a delay and that alone needs to be improved. Moreover morning coffee/tea (milk) is not available before 8am and that too needs to be addressed.

Our stay at the Oro The Estates hotel was absolutely serene. If you live in Bangalore and want to getaway from the busy city for the weekend I can’t recommend this escape more! Only 1 hour and 30mins away and you enter a beautiful slice of nature surrounded by the Nandi Hills on all sides, vibrant greenery and air that is so clean your lungs will thank you for the getaway. Right from the moment we checked-in the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, especially Jayashree, who took care of us for our entire stay. We stayed in the 3-bedroom villa and the main hotel rooms, both places were incredibly clean and comfortable, I’d rate the main hotel rooms as more luxurious and very spacious if you really want to relax and access the games room, pool, hot-tub and activities easily. We booked the 3-bedroom villa at first, since it was more affordable, for a family of 5, however the staff were incredibly accommodating and let us stay in the main hotel rooms the second day, for no extra charges! The rooftop restaurant with panoramic views of the Nandi Hills takes the Oro to a whole other level, compliments to the chef for absolutely acing all the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a special thanks to our waitresses Maya snd Nangmang, for ensuring we had the best time. Overall a 11/10 experience, that I can’t recommend enough, and we will definitely be back!!!!!
