Lovely cosy annex by the sea

Lovely studio, modern and very clean. Quiet area.

Bed was a little soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference.

Nothing not to like

Where do I start?! My host had already provided the key code for the lock box so I was able to arrive and get in straightaway no hassle. Parking was brilliant. Plenty of space for my car and I could park right upmto the property for ease of access and unloading the car. This place is beautiful. A lovely little courtyard greeted me which was a private space for me to enjoy. Colourful plant pots were laid out which is a lovely touch too. When I arrived there was a little welcome tray with a few Lindor chocolates on it, some tea bags and coffee sachets. It was lovely and clean, well laid out for the space and the bathroom is gorgeous. A note for house rules and WiFi code was really useful. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery (which is not always the case!) and sharp knives (a rarity). The location is fantastic - five minutes walk in one direction and you find yourself on the main high street with plenty of shops and eateries and five minutes walk in the other direction and you're on the beach. If I had any questions or issues my host was pretty quick to respond which is always reassuring and she would always try to rectify anything as soon as she could...this was very good. The apartment has some very thoughtful finishing touches which just made it extra special...gorgeous air diffusers which smelt delightful, candles and soaps which were clearly high quality. No scrimping here. If my host will have me back and I plan to be in the area again I would definitely like to stay again.

There were some issues with the WiFi at times but they said they were going to seek a more permanent solution and did their best to sort it for me. It wasn't a major issue but a little annoying at times. Personally I would prefer to have a proper sized freezer in place of the dishwasher. Given that no more than one or two people would be staying at any given time the advantage if more storage would be beneficial versus washing one or two plates up. I would also maybe want some more cleaning products available to me as I do like to be able to clean up after myself to a greater degree. Also given that there were teabags etc on arrival maybe a pint of fresh milk might be handy so you can half a hot drink immediately but this is being super picky. Lol

The bath and shower unit is fabulous, Also has washing machine facilities in the unit as well, very convenient..

I didn't dislike anything about the accomodation, It's little small, but it is a cozy annex after all

Comfortable little annexe, which was centrally positioned for our needs. Well stocked with all that you might need. Liked having access to a little court yard.

On first arrival, it seemed clean and tidy, but on closer inspection, the space between the shutters and windows was full of little dead black bugs. The fridge door was rusty along the bottom. Stained and dirty cups in the cupboard. Kettle needs descaling. The wooden slats that separate the bedroom space don't leave much room to get to the bed. Would be better to remove and have another bedside table, in my opinion.

Good location, for Bournemouth,we even we were in a car we used the bus in and out of town the bus service is fantastic.

Nothing really, the apartment is a converted garage, we have come across this kind of apartment before., the unit is really good slightly small but everything you need really clean, fantastic residential location.
