Breakfast was lovely and with many options. Location for the tunnel was fantastic and in a quiet rural setting Great restaurant

Took several attempts for someone to answer the phone at reception and book in. Also, the room was a little disappointing - plain furnishing, small room, little bit of dust and no view. Was expecting a little more for the price

Food excellent

They thought I was staying another night because,unknown to me, Expedia must have made a mistake but it is their word against mine. I will stay on Sat night again on the way home. I would not stay for two nights on the journey.

Good location. Excellent breakfast

No reception facility. Lock to room very difficult to operate. Shower facility in Bath difficult to use.

There was a good snack bar serving food and drinks.

We have stayed at this Hotel before without problems, however on this visit problems started on our arrival. A rather surly man appeared and gave us our room keys without comment. The roof of the Hotel was being retiled creating a lot of dust and horrendous noise. we could not use the room during the day. We should have been warned before our arrival. The restaurant meal was mediocre, last year the restaurant was fine. Breakfasts were self service and there was no cooked option.

Very convenient, clean and comfortable enough. Breakfast was pleasant if impersonal. Setting was very pretty.

We arrived very late due to traffic problems getting to the tunnel but had let the property know. However our room key was not waiting in reception as they’d promised so we had to disturb a rather grumpy manager to get access to our room. Facilities were clean but basic - the bathroom door didn’t shut properly for example and the third bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was self-service and there were no staff to be seen.
