Super friendly and warm host! The apparment looks new,, clean and comfortable. Especially the bed is big and comfortable and the shower is great. He also has a restaurant, Antica Taverna, went two times eating there, both times were super! I would absolutely recommend both places.

Volterra is a great village and the apartment is in the center of it. Great to walk around.

Access to the apartment by car is outside of the PZR timings, very narrow roads and then parking is outside of the village at the bottom of the stairs. Too high and too many stairs to carry suitcases. Better check in procedure needed

The property is very well located within the city walls of old town Volterra. It's a 1-bedroom apartment fully equipped. The room is very confortable. The bathroom was very clean. Wifi worked just fine. If you come with the car, there's a paid parking about 5m walk from the property. The number of parking places is very limited though.

Communication with the owner wasn't great as she is not very fluent in English. There is a city tax to be paid upon arrival, but she only accepted cash and hadn't mentioned it before. She said it was ok to pay the next morning by meeting her in the restaurant where she worked about 10m walk from the apartment. She also charges a 10% additional fee if you arrive after a certain time in the afternoon. It felt very disproportionate.

WOWOWO, This place is GREAT. Clean, modern, kitchen and a short walk to everything. I highly recommend. Host was VERY nice and helpful. Parking a car outside the wall was easy. I'd say this was one of my favorite properties during my 3 week trip. Must carry your bags to the second floor, but only to find very comfortable apartment with everything you need... short or long stay.

The location was too good to be true - set on a quiet street in the center of Volterra. The apartment was as described, very clean, quiet and comfortable.

As with so many of the places we stayed - there wasn't really anything to not like. Sure, would have been nice to have had facilities to do a bit of cooking - but they weren't part of the arrangement so nothing to complain about.
