The Coach House on Love Lane - 3 stunning apartments in the Yorkshire Dales

The picture above is not the place I stayed in, although the address is love Lane Leyburn. The access is on reeth Road. It is not a black door as stated it is a green door as you arrive into the courtyard. It is very untidy with trees that have been cut down but the bottom left so hence a trip hazard. On arrival into the property, I had to clean the shower as it was mouldy As stated in the itinerary there was an iron and ironing board but no iron also a bin but no bin a rail to hand clothing up with no clothes hangers No glasses to drink out of in the kitchen a dust pan but no brush The Internet details for this property are very misleading as they are showing several properties within the complex. There are no views from the building itself and shows the classic picture on the Internet of leyburn shawl which can be seen from a short walk from the property

The accommodation was a disappointment. It was not as described and many things missing. Toilet flush broken, no glasses, no sofa, no outside space, rubble next to house door, tiny shower, paper peeling off the walls, painting untidy. Booking.com staff were great and moved us. Hopefully all issues will be resolved.

The king size bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable. I had a great sleep. The property is quirky with a distinct design throughout which although not to everyone's taste, makes it unique and appealing.

If you need a microwave, this property is not for you. Some TLC needed such as repairing the peeling wallpaper but that did not impact on our stay.

The decor and location

Could have done with window blinds in the lounge for more privacy

The decor is lovely, the kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was very clean.

Firstly the instructions to find the property are a little confusing, the place was so cold and didn’t really warm up the whole time we stayed. There are no blinds in the living area, this made us feel a little uneasy as this is also used as a sleeping area so this really wasn’t ideal at sunrise. This property really shouldn’t be advertised as a four person accommodation given that the only bathroom is situated in the main bedroom. We had an issue with the door lock, we struggled to get out of the property and eventually had to break the lock to leave, ( booking.com where absolutely on the ball with resolving this quite promptly) with this we found that all of the windows were painted shut, really is a safety issue, hopefully this has now been rectified. It’s such a shame to have to write a negative review as it really could be the perfect accommodation.

Beautifully furnished and spacious.

It had just opened, and there were a few things missing, such as a bin in the kitchen. A guest book would be really useful, with information on how to operate the heating system etc.

Needed a kitchen bin no blinds in the living room which took away the cozy feeling just one knife and fork had to purchase more cutlery no instructions for oven or hob bad directions to get into the property bedroom door handles weren't screwed on and window catch the same

The décor of the property and friendliness of the hosts were excellent. The apartment was very clean and even some cleaning products left for us i.e. dishwasher tablets and dish was cloths. We really cant fault the property, even the parking wasn't an issue.

Nothing to do with the property, the surrounding area had limited eating out options for the time we stayed due to closures so nothing that the hosts had any control over.

The location was in the middle of Leyburn.The apartment was furnished beautifully and everything was top notch.The beds were really comfortable.
