Kanna Nivas - Heritage Villa

Value for money. Good placevto stay. Food can come from outside.

Small missing amenities like clothes hook, bad handles, noisy AC etc. Owner should stay one night as guest to discover gaps. It isvreally important to do these improvements.

The house is attractive, WiFi worked.

Air conditioning noisy at night, shower didn’t work well.

Me and my sister had a wonderful 2 days stay at Kanna Nivas. We got an early check-in and Rajan Anna was very helpful from helping us to reach stay, commute around in Thanjavur and things to do, arrange auto and cab for a day trip to kumbakonam along with suggesting different sites and temples to cover. He helped us a lot for our further trip for Trichy too. We can easily swiggy breakfast/ food to the stay. The house has a authetic vibe and it adds to the charm and be ready to dazzle and take some wonderful pics.

Really heritage villa. My mother in law became a big fan of this property. She did not want to leave.

The staff was great. Very helpfull and friendly. The room was spotless clean. The house is very nice.We had a great stay. A short ride from downtown but to be fair that is why we had a good night sleep...it was quiet:) I would stay again:)

The villa is filled with beautiful heritage vibes, reflecting the rich culture and tradition of Thanjavur, while offering a peaceful, quiet, and calming atmosphere with very positive energy. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Rajan, who went above and beyond to make our experience special. He provided excellent suggestions for temple visits and local food, and even helped arrange a photoshoot at very short notice. The photographer arranged was incredibly friendly and patient, and captured some truly amazing pictures for us. Every moment at Kanna Nivas was enjoyable, and we genuinely appreciated the attention to detail and personal care shown by the team. It’s a perfect place to relax, soak in heritage charm, and experience authentic hospitality. It’s easy to see why many guests who have stayed here consistently praise the villa for its heritage ambiance, serene environment, cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality. Visitors often highlight the welcoming nature of the hosts, the peaceful surroundings, and how the stay feels both culturally rich and homely. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our stay and would highly recommend Kanna Nivas – Heritage Villa to anyone visiting Thanjavur. We look forward to coming back again!
