Lovely atmosphere, with a gorgeous courtyard and beautiful artwork. Room characterful. AC, wi fi . Kettle with coffee etc. Nice bathroom with lovely toiletries. Porch area with outside seating area. Restaurant in hotel 700 m away. Took 12 minutes to walk. I particularly enjoyed talking to the owner about Indian culture.

Residential area, a little far from sights . Peaceful area though. It would have been nice to have breakfast there.

Kanna Nivas est un charmant hôtel à Thanjavur avec un style chettinad. Situé dans un quartier résidentiel un poil excentré avec commerces à proximité (mais du coup calme et silencieux, très appréciable en Inde !), tout est accessible en 10 minutes en scooter ou rickshaw. Chambre propre équipée d'une Smart TV, j'ai pu me mater les deux derniers épisodes de Fallout en connectant mon compte 🤓. Et surtout un grand merci à Rajang pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et son anglais meilleur que le mien, il a été d'une grande aide pour poursuivre sereinement mon périple jusqu'à Madurai ! 🙏

"Belle maison, chambre spacieuse, mais un peu excentrée"

Très belle maison, impeccablement propre et décorée avec beaucoup de soin. La chambre est spacieuse, agréable et bien aménagée, avec des fenêtres ouvrantes. Climatisation et ventilateur sont à disposition. Le matelas est confortable et la salle de bain est correcte, douche chaude, WIFI parfait. Le propriétaire présent dans l’établissement, est à votre écoute pour rendre votre séjour agréable.

Petit bémol : l’éclairage est un peu froid dans la chambre, absence de lampes de chevet bien utiles. Autre point à noter : l’hôtel est éloigné du centre. Le quartier alentour manque de charme pour les promenades, et les tuk-tuk connaissent mal l’adresse, ce qui les oblige souvent à contacter l’hôtel pour s’orienter.

It is a beautiful home stay not just on the eyes but also in the experience, this is must stay if you are visiting Thanjavur. The house connoisseur mr. Rajan made us feel so comfortable and was always around to make sure we had best of the experience
