Beautiful Central 2 Bed Flat

From start to finish communication with the host was incredible. They send clear information on the property ahead of time to make a smooth check in. The property well stocked, including tea/coffee etc. spotlessly clean and comfy beds. The shower was also one of the best I’ve come across when away from home. Fantastic location for bath city centre. A car park an easy 15min walk away, so pack light or drop bags off then go park! We will def go back and recommend.

When you book, you get lots of messages from a third party instructed about verifying yourself and paying a £35 damages fee. It’s made out that it’s compulsory which the hosts confirmed it’s not, however at the time I paid in order to continuing to verify myself which I was never actually made to do, so it’s solely to pay a damages fee. This felt a bit misleading. I do think it’s worded badly from the 3rd party not the hosts.

Great location, had all the amenities needed.

Given it was a particularly cold spell the apartment can be very cold unless the heating is on consistently at a good temperature. Outside of bedrooms / living room it feels cold. Bathroom window would not shut.

The flat was just the right size for two people, it had everything we needed. It was a cozy stylish apartment. Personally, the living room was nice, having the kitchen was very useful, the bedrooms were a good size with the beds being pretty comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The location was great, around 15 min walk from the station and easy to get into the centre. The area is also safe. The flat was also clean upon our arrival. They also provided extra things like extra toilet paper.

There are definitely a few updates that could be made to make it perfect. For example, there was some loose carpet on the stairs and one of the rooms, the shutters wasn’t working properly. The curtains are also not blackout. The tap on the sink was very loose and the handle on the oven was loose. Things to keep in mind, there was two of us and we felt we had good room. However, more than two may be a struggle. The bedroom I had didn’t have clothes storage except for a rack which two people can’t really share but the other bedroom had a wardrobe. Also, the windows are old and the flat is situated near a main road so when there’s a lot of cars, it does get noisy. In the mornings, we heard the flats next door. We didn’t have a problem with this but there are a couple of narrow winding staircases so do bear that in mind.

Was a little difficult to locate which key box belonged to the property, but eventually found it was the top one. Labelling the box and the keys would be a good thing to do as there were 3 keys. The apartment was in a good location very central to the shops etc. Stairs could be tricky if you are not used to them as steep. The apartment was cosy and the decoration was very colourful and had a nice vibe to it. It was nice and roomy. There was a lovely cafe The Honey Cafe located in St Swithins church which was a short walk away, ideal for breakfast or lunch and reasonable. We also would recommend The George which also was not far from the apartment and Ponte Vecchio near The Pulteney Bridge to eat. Lovely people again and food was delicious.Would definitely visit again.

The road was a little busy by the apartment so could be a little distracting with the traffic, but fairly quiet in the evenings. Instructions for the appliances would have been useful to have. A book of recommendations of places to visit and eat and a map would have been helpful. Being able to open a window a little would have been nice to let some air into the apartment though obviously it was high up so from a safety aspect probably not possible in such an old property. On the whole though there was not much not to like. The plumbing can obviously be tricky in older properties, but the shower tray needs to be looked at as it does not drain away very quickly and therefore liable to overflowing, but the water was lovely and hot!

So perfectly located for groups wishing to see bits of Bath on foot. It was an extremely comfortable and well furnished, and it was easy to get to restaurants or cook at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to a group wishing to see Bath. What I would say is that the property may be difficult to enter if you have mobility issues, there are a lot of stairs. But this is no criticism it is just the way the property is.

There were quite a lot of notifications that came with booking the property, my inbox seemed like it was always getting another new email in the lead up to the stay. But the flip side of this was that the instructions to get to the property and enter were easy to understand

This homestay is located in a quiet urban area, with exquisite interior decoration and beautiful outdoor scenery. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom are all consistent with the pictures. The management team is highly efficient and provides very accurate information. As long as you read the information carefully, you can easily find the homestay, get the key and check in smoothly. However, there is one thing to note: the homestay has three floors with five or six sections of narrow and winding stairs. It is quite laborious to carry luggage, so it is not recommended for the elderly. A very interesting point is that the washing machine is placed in a fun location and needs to be searched carefully. Here's a tip: it's in the bathroom.

The property is let down by the following. If some of the below are rectified, it could be great .Only one mug to drink tea from. Carpet lose on stairs which could be a very dangerous. Bed side lamps not working. Difficulty getting in and out the shower. Please note stairs not suitable for elderly or those with mobility issues. Clocks not working. Cleaning not great overall.
