The Bar & Spa Girls, Yusuf was an absolute Gem! Very professional and very polite, the Spa ladies were great. The Mocktails during pool time were very nice.

1. They gave us a room we didnt book (it was Eid and hotel was fully booked so they claimed it was an upgrade) but it was right opposite the entertainment that night which was extremely loud and they claimed it would finish at 11pm it didnt for the whole week, we have an Autistic child who was very disturbed every night, they said theyd move us and didnt bother, everyday they said theyd check and wouldnt, we gave up in the end. 2. The indoor pool was not open and drained out (we chose the hotel because it had an indoor pool so my son can relax when he feels overwhelmed) 3. Lobby is nothing like the photos, hotel is dated and photos are old 4. Kids club was non existent and empty during daytime, they would have a mini disco in evenings fir an hour 5. The pool was so busy, i asked for an unbrella for my children who were burning in the sun, the life guard just shrugged his shoulders and said none left 6. No ala carte restaurant, very small restaurant and variety 7. Snack bar only served Pizzas and you had to pay extra for Ice Cream, no ice lollies for kids etc 8. Kids slide area was closed last 2 days of our trip (whole point we booked so kids can be free without being scared) 9. Far out from city so taxi prices reflect this 10. Dont book excursions via hotel, misinform you and then when you get there charge extra

Incroyable séjour au El Olivar Palace à Marrakech ! Un service incroyable, la piscine et les toboggan sont incroyables aussi pour les enfants. Un énorme merci à Sarah qui a pris tout le temps qu’il fallait avec nous, c’est la meilleure !

Super hôtel, les chambres sont très propres, spacieuses, la climatisation fonctionne parfaitement. Le staff est adorable, grosse mention pour Sarah qui est une personne incroyable, elle a tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux

Un très beau séjour, rendu possible surtout par le staff qui est extrêmement gentil et en particulier Sarah qui a été un amour du début à la fin, une personne en or que l’on a rarement vue ! Si vous voulez un service de qualité, El Olivar Palace ne le vous fera pas regretter. Merci encore pour tout

The upgraded room was large and spacious.

1. I encountered instances of rudeness among some staff members, and there were moments that suggested discriminatory behavior. This was evident not only to me but also to other guests. 2. Our first room had plumbing issues, and unfortunately, the communication with the plumber was difficult due to language barriers. As a result, there was a minor leak in our room. However, I appreciate the front desk staff for accommodating us with an upgrade, which was a nice gesture. 3. There is a significant issue with wasps, bees, and ants throughout the facility. Both rooms we stayed in had a noticeable number of ants beneath the bath mats and towels. Additionally, the outdoor bar and indoor dining area were swarmed by bees and flies. While I understand this is Africa, I have not experienced such problems in other countries on the continent. --- Feel free to make any adjustments or let me know if you need further assistance!
