Clean and hot water doesn’t come
GBNothing to like here, it was in a despicable state
Do not use this facility, its not fit for use, in fact so unhygienic we couldn't stay there, having spend half an hour with wipes etc. trying to make it a little clean realised everything was disgustingly filthy, we couldnt face the thoughts of sleeping in the beds so had to leave and find somewhere else, was a big waste of money and not fair to even be advertised Surfaces filthy, electrics had tripped and took a little while to sus it all out, Oven not fit for use, bare minimums pf anything there, sofas were so dusty we tried wiping down and couldnt use, carpets and floors filthy, broken cupboards etc. just goes on and on, have tried to make contact since and owner never responds

GBThe location was perfect for us as we were attending a funeral the following day at the Distington Crematorium. A lovely chip shop opposite and a handy Morrisons just metres down the road.
No pub or bar in the village
INGBGBGBGBGood location is all I can really say that we liked on the whole.
Not the best overall, loads of issues within the place. The oven did not work correctly as it would not heat up. The back door wouldn't lock securely. The bathroom sink leaked water everywhere whenever you had to use it. Furniture was all just threw together, the same as the utensils, pots, and pans. The whole place seemed like it had been rushed to get people in quicker. Was meant to be dog friendly, but the garden was not secure as there was no back gate enclosing it. Had to keep my dog on the lead every time he went out. And I had to try to block the gap with the bins. Lastly, we didn't get sent the key code to gain access to the property. I headed up late on the first day due to working in the morning. I had to mesaage the owner to get the code to be able to get into the property. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone as it had loads more issues than the ones above. They were just the main ones that affected us the most. Was not a relaxing place to stay and not worth the money we paid for it.
