A Whole Terrace house to you

This place was absolutely awful and if I thought it wasn’t pointless I would ask for my money back. This is not a whole townhouse, certainly not as I understand a townhouse, from the outside it is a very tired mid terrace road facing property. After a reasonably long journey I headed to the garden so that the dog could stretch his legs, it wasn’t fit for a dog, it was filthy. The garden,yard is not secure, it was scattered with cigarette ends and even cigarette ash over the chairs, the bins were overflowing with rubbish strewn on the ground. There were dirty mop buckets and mop parts and it was overgrown. Inside had areas of damp and dirt, there were substantial areas of missing grout on the floor which were gathering dirt. The bathroom was damp and there were various fungi as well as dead insects. The kitchen units in some cases were dirty and still had protective wrapping on them, most of which were peeling. There were examples of unsafe wiring which certainly would not pass a safety inspection. The oven did not work, I see that this has previously been reported as had the TV which simply did not work. Please think very carefully before booking this badly advertised and unpleasant property.

Not a town house,it is a mid terrace small two bedroom house Externally uninviting.On opening door,met with smell of stale smoke Interior and furnishings were beyond basic and leg falls off sofa bed Very dirty,mouldy and damp throughout(very damp shower room),it came with its own supply of mould and slugs Back of property/garden full of overflowing bins and buckets of dirty water.Back door dirty .Patch of false grass overgrown with trailing weeds. Some exposed wires in bathroom Pans and utensils rusty and dirty ,some had no handles Bed mattress soiled and nylon bedding unsatisfactory The whole place and atmosphere made us feel uncomfortable and unclean We washed all crockery etc before use and only used because we had no choice Tv does not work ,asks you to put Amazon account in!! I would not recommend this property to anyone and cannot understand how it can still be booked through your site !(Booking.Com) I would highly recommend that someone reviews this property as I am sure this would result in removal from the site I would be happy to be contacted to discuss our stay,as the person who booked it ,I felt ashamed and upset that my friends had to stay in this property One night was one night too much

Fairly spacious for a family of 4

-unclean (bedding not washed) -mould/damp/slugs in bathroom -scuffed walls in need of a paint -worn carpets -tv not working. No batteries in remote -garden appalling with overflowing rubbish -lumpy uncomfortable beds -blind upstairs broken -crockery chipped and unclean -no bedside lamps or low lighting -incorrect WiFi password provided -NOT VALUE FOR MONEY

Spacious rooms. Very good shower. On street car parking outside property

Property could have been cleaner. Outside rubbish / recycling bins overflowing. Couldn't get the TV or internet to work.

Nothing at all

When we arrived the owner was very reluctant to hand out the door codes so it was a bit of a strange greeting. We realised that the property was not a townhouse but was a two bedroom terraced. There was a odd smell in the property and a general grotty feeling. The pots and pans in the kitchen were all broken, the TV didn't work. The mirror in the upstairs bathroom was shattered and on the floor so we had to clean that up especially as we have found children running around and that was dangerous. The kitchen bin was broken so you had to manually open it each and every time. The hoover was broken and therefore unusable which is ironic because before we were even given the door codes the owner told us not to make a mess and to clean up after ourselves. The back garden was also filthy and just an overall off putting sight. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy and one of the spare pillows for it was stained and brown. My son has been complaining of back ache since he slept on it. The beds in the bedroom were uncomfortable and the property is definitely not suitable for 8 people as advertised maybe 4. There was only one shower in the property and by the time two people had used it all the hot water was gone The toaster was a fire hazard, it kept tripping and at one point was even sparking. It was also tiny and couldn't even fit two slices of bread properly One of the cupboards when opened an actual moth flew out. Overall it was a miserable stay and we did out best to spend as little time as possible in the place

Location Parking

Beds and sofa not vacuumed. Full of dust Poor supply of kitchen items. No lids for pans. Lack of spoons for cooking. What was available was also unclean. No proper kitchen knife. Oven not working. Electricity supply issue with the toaster. Trip swith gets off when the toaster is plugged in. WiFi username is not mentioned, and part of the mentioned password was missing.Had to contact the owner to get them. Still, it was incorrect.

Property is well heated, TV is a decent size and appliances were good. Managed to park outside with no issues. Host seems pleasant.

Beds were very uncomfortable and extremely noisy, bedding/ mattress stained and one set of bedding was damp. Utensils for the kitchen not great. The back garden pictured was full of rubbish. Downstairs bathroom damp and peeling walls. Feels like the property needs some TLC.

The booking page says that check-in is between 3 pm and 23:00pm. We thought that was great as we planned to climb Catbells and have a long stay at the lake afterwards. Later on the day, I was told that we must check in until 7 pm. I was disappointed because we were staying with the children at the lake with paddle boards, and we needed to rush quickly into the property. Once we arrived, we found outside bins overloaded with rubbish, and all the cutlery,plates, and cups were dirty. The sofa in the living room had a loose leg.The living room glass coffee table top wasn't attached to the table, which we found really unsafe. Also, the bedroom beds were so wobbly😀 I am not even talking about the mattresses... 😬The springs were poking into my sides. I am not sure if the bed sheets were clean either. I understand the price is low for the stay,but after this stay, we wouldn't want to come back. Sorry,I don't normally leave bad comments,but this place really needs some work done.
