The owner Noel was very helpful and prompt with support and assistance.

Many creepy crawlies the women of the house had a tough time 🤣.

Pool was nice. Internet was good. Clean and comfortable. A more affordable option as it’s a distance to the beach

Il posto è molto bello, estremamente tipico, i cottage sono stupendi, tutti con dei giardinetti con fiori stupendi e palme, li ho adorati È anche molto facile da raggiungere (in Kenya le strade sono letteralmente un incubo, invece la strada per arrivare qui è relativamente bella, non ci ha causato problemi di alcun tipo al contrario delle altre), quindi un altro punto a favore da considerare Ultima nota che aggiungo è che l'indirizzo che è stato inserito su booking non è corretto, porta a circa 100 metri dall'ingresso effettivo della struttura, quindi comunque la zona è giusta, però se arrivate di notte come noi potrebbe essere difficile trovarla, al contrario se cercate "sheba cottages" su google maps, allora vi uscirà la posizione esatta La colazione era squisita, la migliore che abbia mangiato in Kenya, sempre con uova, verdure, pane, frutta fresca, dolcetti e succo freschissimo al mango o alla papaya, uno spettacolo!

Quando siamo entrati nel cottage era pieno di formiche giganti e altri insetti piuttosto grossi, c'era anche un ragno enorme in casa e un altro ancora più grande subito fuori dalla porta Ora essendo che siamo nella natura chiaramente mi aspetto che queste cose succedano, quindi non voglio criticare la struttura per questo, mi rendo conto del fatto che non sia una cosa gestibile, però allo stesso tempo ci tengo a segnalarlo perchè potrebbe essere utile per altri ospiti, in ogni caso consiglio vivamente questo posto!

Distance and the road to the beach

We stayed a week with two kids, and really enjoyed the calmness, the proximity to the beach (about 10 min walking) and the fact of being in the middle of the local community. Our host Noel has been very helpful in providing information for activities and just daily issues. The pool is particularly nice to enjoy. The cottages are simple but cosy, with a private kitchen (including a small fridge, but no cooking plates). The breakfast is great and different every day. Everyone is so nice in the area around Sheba, it's just local people, smiling and greeting us whenever we passed by (we loved not being trapped in a resort but actually being close to Kenyan people). We have been walking at night to the beach three times without any problem. There are couple of restaurants by the beach, within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place, a really good value for money.

Sheba is a bit far from supermarkets so it's sometimes a bit complicated to shop for food without having your own car. It's about 30 min driving to get to the nice Chandarana Foodplus store, which has a bit of everything. But it's possible to call a tuk-tuk (Noel can recommend some) or catch a motorbike on the main road.
