Property Notes

Railay Princess Resort & Spa offers a transfer service from Krabi International Airport at an additional charge. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance if they wish to make use of this service. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. The resort can only be accessed by a long-tail boat. From Krabi Airport, guests will have to take a taxi to Ao Nam Mao Pier or Aonang Beach to catch a boat to Railay Beach. The resort is located next to the Railay Pier. Please note that the name of the guest on the booking confirmation must be the same name as the credit card holder. Guest must present the same credit card used to guarantee the booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel. The hotel will collect a new payment if guests fail to present their credit card upon check-in. Room rates on 31 December include a compulsory New Year’s Eve gala dinner. Extra people will be additionally charged by the hotel. Guests are required to show a photo ID and a credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability, and additional charges may apply. Please inform Railay Princess Resort & Spa of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A damage deposit of THB 2,000 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that renovation work on the restaurant, reception, rooftop pool and selected accommodations areas will be carried out from April 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026, from 09:00 to 19:00. The (replacement!) breakfast, the beds, the shower, the staff were very friendly.

No hot water in the sink. We weren’t informed about the construction work, or the kitchen being closed. No conditioner in the bathroom.

"Great value in one of the most beautiful places in the world"

Great location in beautiful Railay Beach. The facilities (pools, gym, rooms) were all great. The room looked very clean and updated. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but more than did the trick. The views of the surrounding cliffs were amazing, and the location near the East Pier and just off of the walking street was great. For the low-season price, it was great value.

Simply put, the monkeys were everywhere. This is no fault of the property at all, but the rooms at the back of the resort are in an area that the local monkeys have taken over. At any time of day they could be in the hallways, on your balcony, or anywhere else. If you’re carrying any kind of food or drink or a bag, they will go after it. The resort warned us not to leave any food or clothes out on the balcony or porch, and that proved to be wise. To be clear, it was not the entire resort that was like this, just the back building where our rooms were, and it did not impact our enjoyment or experience, it just added some excitement. We found the most success using the provided umbrellas for self-defense. If you think you love monkeys, this is the place for you (to put that love to the test).
