Nyanse Homestay - Raja Ampat

We stayed in this homestay for 4 days. It was very good time to be there. Our home was very comfortable but later we got know that only our home was the best because we have the bed not the mattress as in the others ones. We have a good view. The family every day to please us the delicious food. They prepared the food 4 times a day although on the page of booking.com was indicated only “ the breakfast included”. The master of the home stay, Ferdinand did the best for us in order to show the most interesting places in this area with board. Every day we were going to the best places for snorkeling and he organized the good filching for my husband. From there we saw several times dauphins and shark. Ferdinand is very kind. His son speaks so it possible easily communicate. Near this homestay there is the village where you can visit the school and church. We went to see the paradise birds and the animal cuscus it easily to do exactly from there. In family there are two beautiful girls who help us to go the mountains. If you are looking to find yourself in the most simple place with the perfect basics essentials that you need to enjoy a kind of paradise , this is the place ! The host is wonderfully attentive and reserved and present and also all the snorkeling excursions they offer are amazing and SUPER Recommended !

We had a really great stay there. The family is so lovely. The food is very good and quite different. Mostly it is vegetarian with some fish. So its perfect for vegetarian. Everything worked well and we enjoyed it there so much. It is like you are in your own family. We would go there again.

Nothing. But the corals are not the best on the housereef. But you can also go on trips with the owner. That was great. And we saw a dugong. But this is really rare. The owner itself never saw it.

The family are exceptional. They are very attentive, friendly, caring and cook the most incredible food. The meals are all inclusive, healthy and full of variety. They also do some activities like snorkeling which can be done at the homestay, we saw plenty fish and a couple sharks too. The facilities are perfect, simple, clean and all you need. We loved the family very much, Alvar speaks great English and is the son of the owner Louis. They are always happy and the boys, especially Adrian, are amazing fun. They have a simple yet amazing homestay. If you're looking for authentic papuan experience, for a fraction of the cost and all the safety and love combined this is the place to stay. Local dive sites/centres are a short boat ride away (15mins Tarzan diving/papua explorers). Overall this is a great homestay with lots of potential.

We were overwhelmed by the warm welcome by the family. The lovely family makes a big part of your stay here. You come as guesrs and leave as friends. Theygive you a wonderful insight in their daily life. The homestay has good beds- is basic, but very clean and has all you need for your holiday. Alvaro the son is speaking english and the communication planning your stay is reliable and good. The food is excellent and there is plenty- as fresh as it can be. We were spoiled by fresh fish, chicken, fruits and homemade snacks in the afternoon. Food was so delicious!! The tours done by the father feri, who knows the area by heart and his family are an adventure. We did 6 of them and were flashed about every single trip- worth it!!! We stayed here with our 15 year old daughter for almost 3 weeks and spend an unforgettable time. We already miss the familymembers. We will be back for sure!!

We loved everything. The family is kind, generous and honest. The bungalow is good. The view is good. The food is good. The vibe is good. Thank you to all the family for making our stay in Raja Ampat memorable.

You need to be aware of tide as during low tide, its not possible to snorkel arround and you need to go to villages near by.

The host family is very friendly and they help with everything I needed. The location is great with beautiful sunsets
