Holiday Plus - Palatine Road

Quiet location, a bit away from the beach. Neat and clean rooms with a good, spacious bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Great value for a budget hotel! Customer service was very good, the team were in touch and helpful, even though we arrived to an unstaffed apartment.

The bed was comfortable. Communication about check in was ok.

The outside area of the entrance and garden was a mess... Rubbish ,a bin bag and a dirty nappy there. The hallway was grimey looking and needed a good clean and vacuum. There was a glass 70's internal door which I'm certain is not legal. The room was reasonably clean but not proper curtains, no bedside lamps and no chairs/table but the beds and one bedside metal table. A gap of about 5 cm under the bottom of the room door. There was a trailing extension lead and a bath mat under the wall mounted TV. The "kitchen" a little corridor to the bathroom with a cupboard unit with a kettle and toaster and crockery and cutlery in it, a small fridge and microwave...nowhere to wash up but the bathroom sink. The bathroom had spotlights that did not work and soap / shower gel dispensers that were empty. They did provide a bottle of cheap washing up liquid and a grubby dish sponge at the sink though! The messy back yard view from the bedroom that gave crack den vibes. I complained and it was suggested that I leave a positive review and send a screenshot,then I would receive a ten % payment back. Extremely unethical I stayed in August but have not heard anything else from 'the management ' . Screenshot is included in photos.

Close the the tower 5 minuite walk staff were on WhatsApp message if blended available straight away so very good .

Little issue with cleaning but was soon reported .

Everything was clean and tidy perfect for a family stay close to Blackpool attractions would highly recommend

It was clean and comfortable with mostly everything we need.

It rained really heavily and there was a constant stream of water pouring through the light in the bathroom. We reported it and heard nothing back until 2 days after. We were unable to use the toilet without getting wet through. It was a serious danger hazard.
