4th floor apartment in Tigne

Great apartament, situated very well, all that you need, fast check in, fast check out, great view towards the city and sea. I strongly reccomend!

Not being able to find the property. Better cleaning checks and maintenance checks. Better communication with property owner.

The location was good

Given the wrong key code, toaster, hairdryer and dishwasher broken and no TV working. Property was not fit for purpose, we had issues with a leaking toilet, smell of sewerage , unable to use the water and have not been offered any compensation for all of the inconvenience. Someone in the building smokes cannabis constantly so we were unable to open the window to help with the smell. Because of the smell we were unable to use the bedroom and had to sleep on the sofa. Overall a very unpleasant experience.

Location and spaciousness

You can hear a lot of noise from the street and from other apartments, torn curtains

The apartment is at a perfect location. A walking 5 minute distance from the Sliema-Valletta ferry terminal, close to fabulous cafes, supermarkets, a wonderful mall with a nice plaza and great restaurants. It is by the most central part of Sliema, which makes it a superb homepoint. The 4th floor makes it super quiet during the whole day, even if construction is happening at close distance building, it didn't bother us at all. It felt really cosy and secure overall. It also features a nice little balcony where you can have your coffee in the morning! Huge plus to be noted : at some point, we had a breaker fail at our AC power and we contacted the host, who replied and helped solve the issue within 5 minutes. Kudos to that!

I guess the overall accommodation was very nice. We felt (as I travelled with my partner and a companion), that we could use a coffee maker with one or two shots of complementary coffee or two bags of tea (at least for the first morning - the apartment has just an electric kettle), it would really feel proactive, having a couple more toilet paper rolls without having to buy at our third day (we stayed for a week). We could use some more detergent for the washing machine. But I guess those are pretty much extras and not included or advertised in the first place to be honest. Just missed that "home" vibe.

Kitchen could be better equipped for cooking meals, though all the basics there. Switching on boilers a bit of hassle, better if they were on already.

The location, the apartment is on quiet area, close to the stores, promenade, ferries and bus stops. Spacious and well equipped.

Good location. Had all the amenities you needed. Easy entry. Host was very helpful.

Only had Netflix, no TV channels. The host tried to rectify the problem (which we totally appreciated) but it was out of his control. Unit had 2 balcony’s which we love using but they both had 2 large air conditioning units on them which took up a lot of the balcony space. You had to turn the air off in the apartment to use the balcony or it got very hot. It would be amazing if they could put smaller units or raise the units so you could use the entire balcony space as they are a definitive asset to the unit.
