Comfortable bed. Liked to be able to eat in the pub. Cheerful service and good value for money on the food offer. Had driven a long way and knew it would be simple to eat in the pub having driven all day.

No complaints.

"All was perfectly fine ..."

Had booked a breakfast for the Saturday morning (25th April, 2026), I unexpectedly had to leave early and be on the road by 06.30am as had a nearly 5 hour journey in front of me to almost Brighton in West Sussex. The staff therefore very kindly packed me a selection of pastries, a yogurt and an apple to take on my journey with me. I was most impressed. Thank you to them ....
