Robert's Cottage

Great location. No TV - Whilst some would be upset by this, I loved that there was no TV. Quality time spent catching up with old friends. Close to great walks and the Beach. We did go for a dip (early October.... brrrrr!!) Had a very well equipped kitchen and a range of herbs and spices which was great. My wash bag with liquid and cleaning stuff was not needed! Beds were comfy. Plenty of towels, shower was easy to use and nice and warm. Plenty of logs provided. Place was really clean. Ample on street parking. Easy to contact host.

Everything was perfect for our stay. Nothing to not like!!

Central location. Wood burning stove was awesome lovely and warm.

No tv. Caused an issue the 1st night with no TV. However the WiFi was a godsend for my 5 year old.

Very sweet little cottage, great location. Loved the fire and appreciated the firewood provided. Beautiful crisp, white bed linen and towels provided for everyone. Comfy beds and all in all felt very welcome.

I appreciate that a dog friendly property is going to be a little rough around the edges and happily accept that but the bathroom and kitchen were both very grubby and needed to be cleaned before we could used them. As we were packing the car at 9am (check out time listed as between 9 and 10) the cleaner was already sitting outside waiting for us to leave making us feel quite rushed. Also the front and back gardens were both quite overgrown.

cosy and comfortable historic cottage. kitchen has everything you need. comfy sofas and beds. lovely fireplace. the surrounding are astonishing, mountains, lakes, national parks.
