Rosie and Jim Retreat with hot tub indoors amazing

Fantastic, this place has everything you need , the host is lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, plenty on water and snacks , full fridge, lots to do and so much fun , loved the hot tub , cosy fire , cosy beds

The hosts were fantastic. Extremely accommodating and helpful. Nice extras were left for us which we appreciated so much. It was a really nice extra touch. I would highly recommend.

We have just got back from a stay in the Rosie and Jim and we will definitely be back! I was nervous when reading some on the reviews but do NOT let them put you off this quirky boat is amazing. I travelled alone with my 2 large dogs and could not have been made more welcome. There were plenty of snacks and bottled water on board for me along with breakfast food tea coffee. Bonus was 2 small packs of treats for my dogs! The Rosie and Jim is clean, warm and so comfortable. If you want luxury book a hotel if you want to stay somewhere quirky, fun, and welcoming this is the place for you!

What a lovely, unique, and quirky place to stay. Our host really "pushed the boat out" to welcome us. The breakfast provided was plentiful and tasty with the m&s fruit, fresh and delicious. Slept like a log in the comfy beds, cosy and warm with the gentle lull of being on the water. The bathroom was a challenge without a flushing loo and a shower you had to pump out but only to be expected really staying on a boat. The location was perfect, and the hot tub was a nice way to relax after walking miles around Lincoln and tackling the "Steep Hill." It's definitely worth a visit if you fancy something a little different.

A very friendly welcome and a good supply of provisions. The property has a quirky character and is very close to a car park and town. The nearby pub William 4 was excellent. Lincoln was well worth visiting.

The toilet. Not easy to flush and considering the price could do with an upgrade if possible.

Everything !! Absolutely everything what an amazing escape from reality, beautiful boat so cosy and couldn’t have asked for more. Chrissy left us plenty of treats all over for our stay more than enough chocolate and snacks and even some fizz to enjoy in the hot tub which was fantastic like a hot bubble bath. Cosy comfy bed and lovely fire which we enjoyed sitting next to on the floor with a board game again plenty of these provided Chrissy has honestly gone above and beyond and thought of everything we said next time we come we don’t need to bring a thing :) absolutely fell in love and dream of owning our own boat now, breakfast provided was enjoyed on the table front of the boat In the sun and the location was perfect, no noise or disturbance even tho situated near a pub. Honestly cannot recommend this place more the cafe next door is run with the same beautiful service and hospitality we cannot wait to return only complaint is we didn’t book a second night :) big hugs and love to you both xxx
