Great beach! Enjoyed getting fish from the guy on the beach and fruit from the fruit truck. Beautiful walks down the beach every morning. The palapa serves good food. Cold pool, heated pool & aerobic classes every morning.

We just got back from 8 weeks and must say it was great! Met a lot of great people and the staff is awesome. We felt right at home. Our condo was exactly what we needed , booking the same one again. Looking forward to returning on Dec for 9 weeks.

First stay at the condominium, nice overall property, enjoyed the fitness center, and right on the beach. Diappointed in the room's maintenance: 1) sliding glass door lock was broken and unable to secure, 2) front door lock deadbolt was inoperable (someone had damaged the keyhole, I assume trying to break in; management said none of the doors rely on deadbolts, only the door knob locks), and 3) shower head did not spray well due to a clogged spout. Comfortable bed, wifi eventually worked, friendly staff, just never felt really secure leaving valuables in the room, and since we were out most of the day (and the staff is only there from 0900 to mid-afternoon, we didn't address the issues for several days, and just kept our valuables with us anyway. Would we stay again? Perhaps, though comparable prices exist elsewhere for a more full-service hotel.

My sister and I joined our mother at this property based on recommendation. Let's be blunt. Our money should be equal to owners, we paid to stay there like everyone else. The facility and ambiance is excellent. Special kudos to Fernanda who works at the front desk, a combination of reception and concierge, an outstanding lady who takes pride in making people's stays enjoyable. In fact, she went out of her way to find out a medication to help combat a rash from a spider bite - worked like a charm. Leo captured our hearts: he is VERY attentive and keeps an eagle eye out on the beach where the waves have a strong under tow, warning us when we arrived. (Too many people ignored the red flag and we saw Leo engage lifeguard to save people who got themselves in trouble). It is the people who make all the difference and these two make a master difference!! Be informed. This resort caters to owners who spend months there. Having said that, we had a great time. People were friendly and accommodating to non-owners, but rarely let you forget that you don't belong the same as if you were an owner. Linda, who does the rental was beyond rude. When we were packing up and ready for check out, she sailed in without any advance notice or respectful. We certainly didn't need to hear about maids stealing towels (her theory) while she paraded around the suite counting towels ... trust me, if one were to slip towels into suitcases, these were inferior quality. It was really nice to have the insuite washer and dryer, going home with fresh clothes, contrary to the usual vacation of damp, heavier suitcases. Having the option of the restaurant was ideal and convenient with a bar if that is all you wanted. They hosted a fabulous shrimp night where the chef outdid himself. Owners proudly bragged that he was scooped and had made a difference. I met the sales guy, Robert, when I was leaving. He was a poor representation to the class of the resort. Stopping to ask where you were from and immediately moving on when he decided we were an unlikely sale (while my sister was booking another stay for a couple of months). I'm sure this resort could find someone who didn't convey snobby entitlement and actually cared about one's experience. Thank you Leo and Fernanda! En general estuvo bien el condominio muy amables los empleados

Having spent 12 + years at Costa Bonita for 3/4 months a year should answer any questions about this location. A fabulous place to LIVE for an extended period of time. Great acomodations, food, and location makes it one of the prime locations in Mazatlan for extended visits. Be aware that a majority of the people there are owners and some are not as friendly as others, but it is a much better atmosphere than a normal rental by the week. The facilities are really good and the location is in one of the most sought after in Mazatlan. Located on one of the major bus routes the resort is easily one of the most sought after in all of Mazatlan. Highly reccommended

First time staying at Costa Bonita renting a privately owned condoning the month of March 2017. The employees are VERY accommodating and most know how to speak very good English. The employees work really, really hard to keep the grounds looking nice. The lounge chairs are wiped down and the pools kept as clean as possible. The employees at the palapa are very professional and the food is very tasty. They work so hard planning, preparing and presenting special events or special meals. Great crew who also like to have fun with the guests. It is a very relaxing place to stay. You can be as active as you want going on tours or just lounging under a palapa on the beach. The veggie truck comes around every other day with fresh eggs, veggies, the best home made breads and fruit. There is a guy on the beach selling fresh shrimp. There are always vendors selling their goods on the beach. Great place to stay!
