Modern 2 bedroom apartment in Mitcham, London

very spacious, nice big living room, all facilities that a family if 4 needs. The flat is huge.

was very hot, no way to keep cool. was told to wash dishes before we check out, which was unusual. Got denied check in a couple of hours earlier.

Great location for attending Wimbledon , comfortable clean felt safe. Good instructions and response to query

Only small thing was we found contact lenses in one of the glasses in the cup board ( almost drank them). Just a bit more attention to making sure kitchenware is clean - everything else was fine and would have been difficult to see that the glass wasn’t clean but kitchenware probably relying on previous occupants adequately washing kitchenware ( which is reasonable)

High ceilings, 2 bathrooms, everything was clean and comfortable. Fans in bedrooms a welcome addition.

Couldn’t park on the drive - very tights walled space with one car already parked and another blocking that that car in.

The location was good—close to our point of interest. The property was relatively spacious (and by London standards, definitely spacious), and it was a plus to have a private parking space.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell (from the sheets, pillows, curtains, and mattress), and the mattress was visibly dirty. Mold was present around the bathtub and possibly on the ceiling. The bathroom floor was in poor condition, with damaged wooden flooring instead of proper tiles. We didn’t think we needed to play detectives or carry an inspection badge—we didn’t take any photos because we were more focused on the discomfort. The general state of the property created such a strong mental discomfort and itching sensation that we couldn’t stop scratching—fortunately, that feeling disappeared immediately after checking into a centrally located hotel and taking a proper shower. On the access alley, we noticed several discarded objects, including a mattress leaning against the house, which raised serious hygiene concerns. The host seemed more bothered that we had lifted the sheets to check the beds for bedbugs and that our child forgot to flush the toilet, than about the actual condition of the house. Sadly, it ended up being the most expensive toilet visit we’ve ever paid for. We honestly don’t understand how this property has such a decent rating on Booking.

Very spacious living and kitchen area! Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Nice and spacious feel with high ceilings. Two bedrooms was great to have! Good transport connections with bus stops just around the corner and the tram stop a couple of minutes away. Mitcham Town Centre was a short walk away.

Short break with our daughters over school holidays - tidy spacious apartment in a quiet area. Easy transport into London (5 min walk to the tram then 7 min into Wimbledon, and you can get anywhere from there!) Responsive host - had an issue with the property on arrival which was sorted promptly and without fuss. Nice green space nearby (Morden Hall Park), ten minute walk to Lidl/Asda, convenience store round the corner. The twin room has an ensuite which the kids obviously loved.
