The service staff at the hotel and restaurants were all very friendly and always smiling and greeting us, and they accommodated to all our requests. It made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Special shout out to Alvin and Firman and 1 more female staff who also invited us for a game of UNO after their shift ended. It was thoughtful of them to invite us to play and made the evening more memorable. We also loved the ambience at the hotel and restaurants. The use of water features made our stay very relaxing and cosy.

Perhaps have more recreational activities/facilities would be nice. Overall it was a very relaxing holiday. We would be happy to return again.

1. If you want early check in you must pay which is understandable. I was told its 900k by a male staff, and told him i will wait for the room instead. He said he will call me if the room is ready at no additional charge. After discussion with my husband, we decided to pay for the early check in, informed another female staff as the male staff was attending another guest. Female staff quoted 1.2M rupiah. I decided to wait for the male staff and enquired again and he said room is ready but it will cost 1M rupiah for early checkin. Inconsistent pricing (quoted 900k, then 1.2M then 1M). Also, earlier he said he will call me if the room is ready. So room is ready, but i still have to pay? The hotel obviously prioritise money over service. Hmmm 2. Was served uncooked chicken for kids meal. Nevertheless i enjoyed the stay, but i have been to other hotels in bintan and would not come here again.

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool, and most friendly staff. Kids had the best time.

Food options weren’t great.

The place is overall very kid friendly. Kids eat free, and it is decent food for the kids (not the typical deep fried / overly-processed types). The kids club was also very entertaining for our 3 year old. The pools were quite special (not your typical lap pool) and were more than enough to keep our toddler occupied and tired, so that was good. The staff were very friendly and polite throughout, although we are not used to being called "pak" and "ibu". Most of the staff are quite good with kids, from the ones at the kids' club to the reception, to the restaurant staff. While it is expected of the staff working in the kids' club, I was pleasantly surprised that most staff throughout the resort will typically engage with our toddler, even in lame conversations that 3 year-olds are apt to have. Another example of the attention to kids was when one of the staff drove very carefully - so as not to wake my sleeping toddler - as he was fetching us back to the resort from Hotel Indigo's restaurant (I cannot remember his name, but I would really love to pay him my compliments for this). P.S. The live band playing at the restaurant was also really good!!

Somehow, the water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating despite not adjusting the lever for the mixer. It can go from cold to hot in a few seconds, causing some discomfort for my 3 year old who prefers cooler temperatures. The central a/c in our room also emitted a slight sewage smell once or twice, and the smell of stale cigarettes once or twice. Despite being a relatively new place, some of the furniture and interior fittings may be in need of replacement. Two examples - the coffee table on our balcony had one layer of laminate peeling away, and a 30cm piece of laminate (presumably from the ceiling) dropped at our table during dinner at the restaurant on the premises. While it glanced off my head and shoulder and didn't cause pain, I can only imagine what may have transpired if it had squarely landed on my toddler. Nonetheless, I must say that the restaurant staff did a good job of recovering from the situation - by immediately replacing our food which had specks of dust from the falling laminate, and offering us additional desserts and a coconut. They were also very sincerely apologetic and concerned for our wellbeing.

Beautiful hotel in a very beautiful setting. Private beach access, unfortunately wasn’t able to swim as jelly fish this time of year. Large room, very clean. Service from the staff was above and beyond! 10/10. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Restaurants on the property were also very good.

The resort and staff were incredible, special mention to Ilham & Dian who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. There is everything you could want on site, food is great, facilities, so many water sports, beach, spa, relaxation, doctors, many pools. We cannot wait to get back, we came with our 2 children 9 & 14 year olds, who both loved it! Rooms were amazing, honestly we were so impressed, and only 10 minutes by taxi from the Bintan resort ferry terminal.
