Town centre flat in Darlington (free Parking)

Parking and next to venue we were attending that night. Also the price.

Funny smell in flat which is still lingering around on my clothes in suitcase. So didn’t hang around next morning for breakfast - just left around 6am as only around an hour away from home. I informed the venue at the time as it seemed like an overwhelming stale cigarette smell and the property is no smoking. Also flat difficult to find initially with satnav. The key safe is located next to a window next to the allocated parking space - and there is another one at the entrance which we automatically tried to use by mistake as was raining , getting dark and we had luggage. Rang for assistance and realised our mistake!

the property was spacious, warm clean Conveniently close to the town centre. good parking. owner most helpful

we had to contact the owner due to lack of items in the property eg crockery, cutlery, glasses , towels the owner was on it straight away and rectified this. someone has stolen the stuff from the flat. I can’t praise the owner highly enough this wasn’t his fault and dealt with it in quick time despite not living locally.

The area was nice and quiet. close to the shopping centre.The flat was a good size and very spacious.

There was not sufficient cutlery. Just a minor detail which can be fixed easily. Also there were only mugs and no glasses. Just small things which can easily be changed. The electric lock was hard to open, although the idea is fantastic. The bed also was a small double.
