The Annex - Penzance town centre with parking

Lovely and cosy place to stay, very close to the town centre.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped. There was a wardrobe and loads of drawers for clothes. Good size tv too. Kitchen was perfect for our 3 nights. We could take our time in the mornings, make our own breakfast and head out. We didn't want a hotel room or a full house so this property fitted the bill. We were visiting family and had the bonus of enjoying the gulowan festival. The bed was very comfortable and a bonus that the owner had put a summer weight duvet on. ! Never had that thoughtful touch anywhere else. Locality was quiet residential, and just a very short walk to town, sea front or morab gardens. Parking provided onsite and easy to use.

In a good position near to town 8 minute walk away Parking on site was good. The owner kept in touch which was nice. It was clean inside and Stacey had left coffee and teabags fo us which was a nice touch.

Expensive for the type of property, we expected a little more. Inside the Annex was a little worn and could do with an overhaul to bring it back to life. Outside would have been nicer if it had more planting to soften the area. The doors to the property were difficult to close and secure. Unfortunately there was building work going on behind the property which started early in the morning!

Location, everything you need is there, very well considered and thoughtful by the host, Quiet, spotlessly clean, small details like tea and coffee is a thoughtful touch- TV bundle package is another thoughtful detail

Quiet, privacy, we used the yard for a meal in the evening sun.

Is described as accessible. The only accessible thing is the entrance. Not accessible: Shower- showerhead from the ceiling, no hose, no rails- for a wheelie unusable Sink in the bathroom- so extremly high, tooth brushing only with water from the bottle possible, washing complicated Toilet way to low, no railings Bed- has rolls which can not be arreted, that means it moves easily, super for wheelies when getting in Kitchen- unusable for wheelchair users. Normal hight, dishes overhead, sink, watter kettle etc unreachable. We booked it because of the accessibility. I even asked ahead if there were any obstacles. Contact with host rather strange. We stayed 2 nights, for storing the luggage because we arrived in the morning, she took 10 pounds (????), and asked 3!!!! times wheter I had left them in cash. Door of the attic was not zu lock. When leasing she expected us to clean the place. The place itself is not really clean but towels and bed was fresh. Very expansive for what we got. Far from train station.

The Annex was clean and tidy.The location was brilliant it was walking distance from town center.

The beds were very un comfortable. The double bed kept sliding across the room and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable it only had a very thin mattress on it and it was topped up with what looked like a couple of thin duvets. Didn't have a night sleep while we were there. It wasn't worth the money that we paid for it. I would say that the Annex is suitable for a couple not a family as you are limited for spaces to sit and relax.

Nice location and very quiet. Only a 10min walk to the seafront which was great. Place was clean tidy and the sky lights give so much light.

Shower wasn’t great but did the job. Bathroom door doesn’t give much privacy.
