La Maison del Bell'Antonio - Catania downtown

Location was perfect. Apartment was nicely designed with a great view over the streets. Funny that downstairs was a total wreck and upstairs a lovely apartment.

Parking a car is a nightmare.

Marcella was a charming host and met us after we texted her as it was quite a tricky address to get to in a vehicle due some city laws. We would never have found it without her greeting us. The location is fantastic, so close to the duomo and market with great restaurants on your doorstep.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was no real bedding other than sheets and a quilt cover without a quilt, which we found a bit strange. We ended up not having a very good sleep. There was a lot of noise until around 3 am even though it was a weeknight which I believe is how the Sicilians roll, but it was a rough night for us after travelling and then not getting any sleep.

The owners were so welcoming and kind! The apartment was perfectly clean, newly furnished and modern. It had all of the amenities along with toiletries, definitely worth the price! The view from the terrace is amazing, and the restaurant downstairs has great and delicious food. 10/10

The buliding of the apartment is very old and dirty in total contrast to the the very clean and modern of the apartment. The bolier in the apartment should be bigger to accumulate 4 people family.
