The Beach Hytte - Stunning Sea View Penthouse

Very spacious with a lovely view point out to the sea, great for a weekend away by the beach :)

Unfortunately I think the price you pay for this is quite steep. There’s stains on furniture, the bedding could definitely be upgraded because it isn’t luxury, and the fire pit which was initially one of the selling points for me was really hard to start up and maintain.

Lovely property with wonderful views and great location. Indoor fire place a bonus. Only 5 minutes from beautiful sandy beach and restaurant’s. Even provided with tea and biscuits on arrival which was so nice after a long trip. Host was very helpful and friendly. Easy access and parking nearby.

The views were good, balcony was nice. The people who helped us were very friendly.

There were broken blinds and the shower was ridiculous to operate: no indication of hot and cold and the rainfall shower was clogged in places, so it didn’t “rain”. Two of the basin taps were absurd to use, we had to operate them with our knuckles - we suspect they are missing operating levers - if you had a disability in your arm/hand they would be virtually impossible to operate. The dishwasher was broken - it would only operate without the bottom rack as the bottom sprayer arm caught on the rack because it had two missing wheels. The bins in the kitchen weren’t attached to the drawer properly, so it was difficult to place rubbish in them. You could use the microwave…if you lifted it down from a high cupboard and found somewhere to plug it in. The en suite door lock was very stiff - it was easy to get locked in! The light switches were confusing - there were so many options for one room. The key lock box for the apartment wasn’t easily identifiable. There was not enough crockery for 4 people - lots of mismatched or non-replaced items. There was lots of storage, but sadly some rubbish/yet-to-be-assembled furniture in one of the wardrobes. Overall, the apartment needs attention - it is tired and things have been damaged previously and not fixed. No instruction manuals etc were provided, which made using equipment tricky. One smoke alarm appeared covered over with a shower cap, another had no cover on it at all.

Good views. Good location. Easy check--in/out. Good communication. Comfortable sofa and beds. Spacious dining area. Clean.

Several missing items: e.g. patio lounger cushions, a frying pan, oven gloves, handles to operate the taps. No discernable way to put on a bit of music (despite a large bundle of cables and switchgear in the corner of the dining room and ceiling speakers throughout) No discernable way to turn on the patio heaters (we found a remote control but that didn't work either) The shower was unimpressive and didn't drain. The dishwasher didn't work. The apartment is in need of some attention in order to meet expectations.

Good location / great views

Overall very good Would have been a 10 if was not for us having to buy firefighters to start the fire and we ran out of logs - only a small inconvenience though
