Cosy Holiday retreat in the heart of Old Cromwell!

The property is so quiet and private, the house was super warm and spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the facilities were first class. The communication with the owners was excellent, and they were so accommodating.

Great outdoor area for a group bbq, close to the golf course plus go cart track and located well for short treks to other towns in central Otago.

Really clean and comfy. Convenient area to stay in.

The location is close to the Old Cronwell Heritage Precinct. There are plenty of sitting areas, both indoor and outdoor. The kitchen is quite well equiped.

Both my husband and my daughter had to have cold shower on the first day as the gas bottle ran out of gas. The washing machine does not work and the clothes ended up dirtier as the washing powder does not even dissolve. I ended up hand washing my clothes after coming off a multi-day tramp. The host left the wet linens from the previous occupants on the cloth rack. The dryer does not work and needed to restart every 15 minutes. I spent a couple of hours in the garage drying the previous occupants' linens so that I could put my clothes on the rack as it rained on the first day we arrived. The shower door in the ensuite does not close either. In addition, the handwash liquid ran out in both the kitchen and the bathroom.

Location was great for Hermitage Precinct and Lake Dunstan cycke trail.

The location was great, walking distance to the old Cromwell area and Victoria pub. Very comfortable

Strange thing to comment about but the shower in the ensuite pressure was almost too much. A shower slide would be better than a fixed shower head, at least that way you could divert the flow from directly pummeling on your back.

We loved the outdoor area and how much the house felt snug and like a home. It was warm and great having two bathrooms with 6 of us staying.
