The Hamilton luxury holiday let's- Holly Barn

It was very comfortable & well appointed. Lovely size rooms & beds were very comfy. Great position on the A6 for our stay. The host John was very helpful.

Just some shower gel and some milk in the fridge would have made it perfect. Also the lighting in the hall where you unlock the door/key safe was very dark whether the bulb could be brighter?? Directions to the apartment off the A6 would have been helpful but John was very good in giving directions

The property was stunning throughout, a lovely modern set up barn conversion. The property was warm and cosy, the showers were great. In fact, all the facilities were. The host was friendly and kept in touch with me throughout our stay. We were here to attend a wedding and I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone. I will definitely return.

Everything was awesome. Host very flexible. The place is huge! Clean, peaceful, very well equipped, warm. Excellent location. Remote enough for a peaceful stay but very close to get to shops/pubs/restaurants. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back.

Sauna was not working and some small toiletries would be nice

Did our own catering, location was ideal for visiting relatives for a celebration. Property was spotlessly clean when we arrived, arrival instructions clear.

Coat hook hanging off wall, no wardrobes and hanging rack in main bedroom broken so couldn't be used. Window locks broken and toilet seat in en suite lost a fitting so insecure when sitting on it, as was the seat in other bathroom. Sauna door broken, but was assured could still be used (we didn't). Nowhere to hang coats. Pop up plug in ensuite didn't work. Immediately rang property number on arrival as didn't want them to think we'd done all this and was told someone would be in in the morning to sort it out, but no sign that this happened when we were out. There were no wine glasses, there was 4 of everything (cutlery, crockery ) but no more, and no oven glove which made things tricky! No salt and pepper in kitchen.

Was a little challenging because I was given different key box codes but got there in the end after calling the host whom helped immediately.

The windows don’t lock and so we didn’t feel safe. There is no view other than into a car park and the front door had a glass window with no curtain so no privacy. Overall it’s done out nicely and the beds were really comfortable but didn’t get much sleep because of the noise from the road and worry about the windows not locking. Also couldn’t leave valuables when going out because they weren’t secured. Host said they’d send someone over to sort the issue, stayed 3 days nearly left .. should have left but was hopefully they’d resolve the issue but they didn’t
