Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

Kleines gemütliches 1-zimmer Sommerhaus direkt am See. Wir waren zu viert da, wir hatten ein sehr bequemes Bett und unsere Kinder haben sich eine grosse Schlafcouch geteilt. Modern eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und noch etwas mehr. Der Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft gefüllt mit leckeren Sachen und auch sonst war alles vorhanden was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Besitzer waren super nett und hatten noch extra Tips für uns. Als wir da waren wurde das zweite Ferienhaus renoviert, so wir hatten den ganzen Aussenbereich für uns allein. Toll mit Aussensauna (mit Glas front zum See) und Hot Pool und direktem Zugang zum See. Pures Luxus feeling und herrlich ruhig. Die beste Unterkunft die wir auf Island hatten.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, die gemütliche Unterkunft hatte alles, was man braucht. Sogar Gewürze und Öl waren da. Die Aussicht auf den See ist traumhaft schön und die Sauna und der HotTub einfach toll! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Und das an einem See leider kleine Fliegen wohnen, ist normal. Auch der Geruch Schwefel gehört zu Island. Wir hatten zu viert eine wunderschöne Zeit und einen sehr netten Kontakt mit den Gastgebern.

Domek nad jeziorem był naszym najlepszym zakwaterowaniem na objeździe Islandii. Spędziliśmy w nim dwie noce i żal nam było opuszczać to cudowne miejsce. Sauna i gorąca wanna po dniu zwiedzania były wspaniałe. Widok z okna cudowny. Domek przepięknie urządzony, bardzo wygodny, czysty i ciepły. Kuchnia z doskonałym wyposażeniem, nie tylko w naczynia i garnki, ale także w przyprawy, oliwę, kawę, herbatę. Właściciele bardzo dbają o swoich gości, w domku zapewnione jest wszystko, o czym można tylko pomyśleć, włączając w to szlafroki, zapasowe ręczniki, książki, gry, świece, kosmetyki, lornetkę itd., wyliczać można by bardzo długo. W lodówce do naszej dyspozycji były jajka, jabłka, skyr, sok, itp. Dodatkowo domek jest w tak przepięknej okolicy, że od razu chce się tam wrócić.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. There were four of us, and we all felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The hot tub and sauna were a special pleasure during the cold Icelandic days — a perfect way to relax.

We honestly didn’t find any drawbacks. Highly recommended!

The quiet location on the lakefront was so peaceful, but still close to Reykjavík, shopping/food options, and activities! We loved having a coffee at the kitchen table and watching the birds and water right outside each morning. The cabin was well equipped for a comfortable stay including kitchen supplies. We also enjoyed the barrel sauna with the equally magnificent view!

I wished for a little more space above the bathroom sink when rinsing my face. A minor quibble on a glorious 4-day stay.

Everything! Exceeded our expectation. Wonderful cabin with amazing views. It was stocked with many essentials (and more) for the kitchen (lovely coffee) and bathroom. We just didn't find a washing machine but this wasn't a problem as we didn't need it. Plenty of towels, games, candles, reading and colouring books. Everything was clean and comfortable, the sauna and hot tub both worked and were a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. We had a problem with the hot tub temperature being too high however the communication with the owners was brilliant, we receive very quick response and the problem was resolved promptly. Thank you so much for you're hospitality we had a lovely time and hope to return in the future

What’s not to like!? Stunning location overlooking a beautiful lake, really cosy and comfortable cabin with everything you could possibly need provided by the hosts. The sauna and hot tub were amazing after a day exploring Iceland.

The cabin was amazing and so clean! And the view!!! That was my dream cabin! It has sauna and hot tub(fresh hot springs) and they were amazing!! Quite area. The owner was so kind, helpful and friendly!! We definitely have to come back this cabin asap!! Highly recommend!!!
