Detached ONE LEVEL stone barn (Rowan Cottage)

Lovely peaceful location

No paperwork left re codes for WiFi and TV plus general lack of attention to upkeep of property (i.e. oven seen better days, batteries in nightlights were dead, etc, etc)

The cottage is well laid out with 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lounge leads out to a patron with calm green surroundings. Very peaceful location and beautiful walks in the countryside nearby.

It was all great. Maybe a relaxing chair outside on the patio so that you can chill and read a book?

Tweepersoonsbed was erg hard

Have stayed here a number of times previously. This time a hen party group in a nearby cottage proved to be quite noisy, which disrupted the tranquility we usually enjoy here.

One single bed broken and the double bed could also do with a new mattress

Lovely cottage in a rural setting, very peaceful and on a farm in a little valley off the main road Perfect for our family of four, open plan living room and kitchen 2 bedrooms one double bed and one with single beds both rooms have their own bathrooms one at each end of the cottage Plenty of utensils, plates and cups to go around for everyone, the only problem deciding who would do the washing up A car is needed as no local transport nearby, we drove to Cwmbran and caught the train to Cardiff for the Rugby It was nice to be able to buy eggs from the farm for breakfast, you don’t get fresher than that We did have a problem with the TV as the batteries were dying only managed to get Netflix up and YouTube Double bed was very uncomfortable like sleeping on a board That said, I would totally recommend the cottage it’s perfectly placed for that part of Wales and nice to come back to the peace and quiet our 16 year old dog loved that it was all on one level as she struggles with steps Thank you for a perfect stay

Exceptionally clean with everything you needed. Beautiful Barn and sweet location.

The mattresses have no support in them, you could feel the springs. We slept on the tiny sofas. We went home early because we couldn't sleep.

Lovely place and quiet. The barn is a great size and worked really well for 4 people.

There was dog hair on the furniture.

This was our second stay at this cottage and hopefully not the last. So peaceful and relaxing and wonderful location.

The TV never seems to work properly maybe this is due to the rural location and signal

A perfectly-proportioned little barn conversion with every facility we required in a wonderfully idyllic rural location, yet just a short drive from towns and major roads.
