Detached ONE LEVEL stone barn (Rowan Cottage)

Fantastic location, very clean. Beautiful cottage.

Bed was uncomfortable. Communal garden not best suited for our needs/dogs

It was way beyond our expectations, first of all we just sat in the car hugged and cried that we'd be staying a long weekend in such a gorgeous place, then we entered and went from room to room with our mouths agape amazed at where we would he staying.

I wish they'd had a comment book available to leave a comment for them and other guests to read.

Location and surroundings were good. Property was nice, we had privacy.

A bit dated in its decor. The double bed was very uncomfortable and really needs a decent mattress. The toaster didn’t work. strange to have two fridges when one space could’ve been allocate to a dishwasher.

Lovely location and very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were very comfy. Visit the medieval church up the road it is amazing. Location remote but near main road and not far from Chepstow

The WiFi dropped out all the time and the TV only picked up apps so when the WiFi dropped out the TV stopped working at all not sure why the free view didn't work possibly could have been due to the weather

It was a lovely homely cottage. The bed was comfy and it was super quiet. Bathrooms were good. The garden and view was an added surprise... lovely

The oven needs a good clean. We went to see the church as mentioned on the website for the rood, but it has been closed a while More cutlery and cups please There were a fair amount of spiders and webs up by the ceiling but these are very high. It just unnerved my daughter who doesn't like them Could have done with some guest information regarding surrounding area

Location was idyllic. Owners were absolutely fantastic from communication to satisfying our needs. Had a lovely cosy feeling

Kitchen equipment not up to standard. Blunt knives, lidless very well used saucepans.

Loved this little cottage, so peaceful in lovely surroundings; fantastic ensuites and everything you need. Just a short break for us this time but would come back. Great location to explore the area and the wye valley too.

Great location. Lovely looking and tidy. Good communication from owner although signal limited at times. No issues arriving or leaving. Even offered a later check out time which was helpful. Lots of beautiful walks in the area and everywhere very dog friendly. Our dog had a wonderful couple of days being centre of attention everywhere we went.

Parents couldn't get on with the TV as it was Freeview only. Nothing else not to like. Lovely little find. Hope to come again.
