Location was superb. View was amazing. Very well equipped.

Double Bed was a bit hard and lumpy, however bedding was clean and fresh.

Perfect little oasis of peace and quiet. Every thing we could possibly need. Very clean and tidy.

Das Haus ist wirklich ein entzückendes cottage. Alles sehr sauber und der Ausblick auf die Natur ist von allen Fenstern Wunderbar. Unsere Kinder haben vor allen Dingen die weite Wiese hinterm Haus genossen. Das Haus innen ist sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl.

Lots of space to relax both inside and out. Very peaceful, but also walking distance to pub.

It was very hot, so maybe a fan would have been an idea.

Great location for what we wanted to do and see. It’s bigger than we expected and had a nice outdoor space too.

We’d booked for 5 people but the sofa bed wasn’t made up and no bedding was left out. We didn’t get any check in instructions by email. We assumed we would get an email or that someone would be at the property to meet us. We only managed to get the lockbox code a while after we arrived. On check out day the cleaner arrived 20 minutes before check out and sat outside the kitchen window with the car engine running for 20 mins. We’re not sure why.

We had been told (unsolicited) that there was no hurry for us to leave the property, so we had planned to depart at noon rather than 10am giving us time for a relaxed morning, following a late night at a family wedding. We were very surprised by a knock on the door at 10.05 and very abruptly asked when we were checking out. When I showed them the email that I had received, stating the the property would not be cleaned until the following day and offering us flexibility the cleaners reluctantly left. At this stage we had not packed, dressed or had breakfast. I subsequently got a call from a lady (property manager?) saying that there had been “a mistake” and that we needed to be out as quickly as we could, so that the cleaners could get into the property and that she was in Dover. It was only after this phone call, that I received an email, explaining that another guest was due to arrive, but they would understand if it was not possible. The cleaners subsequently returned again and asked if there was any part of the property that they could start cleaning, but we told them no, as we were far from ready. We subsequently packed up as quickly and hurriedly as possible and left without even having the breakfast that we had planned. Very sadly, this abrupt ending to our lovely stay in the property left a very sour taste in our mouth. Had a late check out not been offered we would have planned our day very differently but sadly it ended on a stressed note.
