Spacious Ground Floor 2 Bed by Lains Lettings

The flat is located close to a retail park with multiple supermarkets and Aberdeen beach. The flat is within walking distance to the city centre (around 15 minutes) or there are also public transportation links (bus running every 20 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime) which takes a similar length of time.

There is no heater in the bathroom and the vent appeared to be blocked so the large mirror in the bathroom steams immediately that the shower is turned on. Consequently the bathroom is damp and towels do not dry. There was also at least one leaky pipe. The kitchen is similarly damp and the cupboards smell accordingly. The oven was full of breadcrumbs and the freezer contained two Coca Cola cans which had exploded. Both I had to clean despite this being a job I would normally associate with the cleaning prior to arrival. Beds are very small and only really fit one person per bed if you like comfort. The cot for my baby son was provided without a mattress so we had to improvise in order to ensure a comfortable night for him. The flat is provided with a parking space in the development car park. However, the car park space is often occupied by others so that it cannot be guaranteed unless you leave your car in the space the whole time. The landlord did not actively address our concerns.

Convenient for sports village. Comfy beds and good to have parking.

Our parking space was taken so I parked elsewhere and was asked to love my car by another resident. There was no key for door nearest where we had to park so we had to carry luggage and food around the back of property. The tv didn’t work and there was no instructions.

Comfortable, cosy, spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. Would definitely return. And recommend!
