Marshmallow Cottage - Oxwich

Easily located lockbox.

The property was nice, but a few simple consumables would make the stay so much better – there was no hand soap, no food or recycling bin bags, and only two toilet rolls of the cheapest possible quality (so did not last the two nights between 4 of us and we had to buy our own – at £1.79 for two decent loo rolls from the local small store, this seems it like a small cost for a simple, big win that would have lasted our stay).

Loved all the local walks and to be so close to the sea.

Location was perfect with 10 minute walk to the beach.

When we arrived the house was smelling, we are not sure if previous stayers had dogs because there was a used dog bowl on the kitchen floor when we arrived, but there was a strong pungent smell in the main area. So we moped the floor and had to remove the rugs to the shed. Kitchen was filthy with fingerprints all over the fridge door and cabinets. Coffee maker wasn’t working properly and most importantly make sure to bring your own toilet paper. First time that I arrived in a place to find no toilet paper in the bathroom. Bit weird!

Very unclean. Clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival.

5 minutes to the lovely beach, local shop had all the important things, good walking trails. Comfy lounge and well appointed kitchen.

The twin bed room could do with a shelf and hooks.

Fabulous location, beach close by with cafe, restaurant and hotel.

Disappointed with cleanliness of kitchen, fridge and oven especially and sink plug had food in it. Also no recycling bags left for us when it stated in the guest book they were under the sink?

A bit difficult to manoeuvre through app to find key code but all was fine eventually.

Very cosy and well equipped. Very safe and enclosed back garden for our 14 month old dog. Perfect location
