Merton House - Entire Modern City Centre Home

Spacious home, with room for three adults. Comfy couch and living area, spacious kitchen. In close proximity to supermarkets and walkable to downtown Leicester. Really nice new bathroom!

Carpets needed cleaning, and kitchen was pretty disappointing. Really bad pots and pans for cooking and an oven that didn't work. Seems like parts of the house were renovated, but still needs some love.

The property was very clean and warm, the bathroom was lovely and clean also. I also appreciate the staff allowing us to check out late. Thank you very much for this. It was also very simple and easy to access the property and management answered any queries I had.

We couldn’t figure out how to turn the oven on, eventually we figured it out but I think perhaps a more updated oven would help. There was also some parts of the house that could do with updating. However it was very clean and that’s what I care the most about.

Very spacious house. Super comfortable sofa. Clean carpets. Everything what you need is there.

Great location, decent size house, very warm and quiet street.

Needs a little TLC around the house, the mattresses were VERY firm which may be great for some but not for me, would be good to have a bath mat for the floor and maybe a non slip mat for the bath/shower as it can get quite slippy when showering.

The house is close to the city centre only a few minutes of driving. It was clean, spacious and comfortable we all enjoyed our stay.

The stairs are steep but the kids managed them no problem.

Plenty of room inside . Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were nice , good shower . lounge and dining area were nice as well . Well heated . The photos below are of family who weren’t staying who came over for a meal just to be clear 🙂

The kitchen needs a spruce up especially the cooker . I always clean any kitchen I use before I use it anyway . It was almost impossible to read the knobs and it would help to leave instructions on how to use the oven since working it out when you can’t read the knobs is very difficult . Six black bin bags right outside the kitchen door had been got into by foxes or something and there was rubbish over the garden . We left our bin bags inside by the back door so as not to add to the mess . Nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of attention to detail and it didn’t spoil our stay .
