Bedzzz Varanasi by Leisure Hotels, 1 Km from Dashwasamedh Ghat

Hotel was better located than I first thought. Busy street but we were away from the hubbub Good restaurant with patio and lounge area. Staff very helpful.

Very early morning flute playing (??) from outside, but I suspect we'd have heard it wherever we were.

Rooms were neat and washroom

La camera è spaziosa anche se poco pulita (lenzuola e federe macchiate, tappeto ammuffito)

Abbiamo mangiato al ristorante dell’hotel ed entrambe abbiamo avuto un’intossicazione alimentare che ci ha costretto a rimanere in camera (più precisamente in bagno) per due giorni. Nonostante gli avessimo specificato che l’intossicazione è stata causata dal loro ristorante, abbiamo dovuto pagare qualche bottiglia d’acqua.

Okay location and clean rooms (for India standards).

We requested laundry service. Not only they totally scam us with the cost (didn’t provide a bill and when I checked the price list it did not match what we payed, at least 500 extra rupees) but the clothes came out essentially ruined. 3 white pieces came back BLUE, all items came back with debris which meant they have been on the floor and some food stains were still there. Smelled odd which I attribute to low quality detergent. Absolutely terrible service.

Wonderful staff and service. The location is also safe and the food is superb.

The location was great, the ambience was good and the people were very helpful.

The terrace was exposed and uncomfortable to sit out. The lounge was poorly ventilated with stale air. The room was noisy from the indoor airconditioner and outdoor traffic. The restaurant has mediocre food with poor choices and is very expensive. The exhaust fan was inoperative for two days and not repaired.

Close to the temple. The rooms size is big and the pictures are matching the actual property. The staff is super helpful and the lounge and restaurant is also very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay near the ghat.
